Conventionally, the upper cylinder and lower cylinder were installed vertically,
The double-ended needles are transferred to the upper and lower cylinders, the lower cylinder knits the front stitch, the upper cylinder knits the back stitch, and the continuously knitted sock fabric is uniformly knitted with a take-up roll installed below the lower cylinder. The addition of tension helps in overturning the back of the stitches, resulting in an even better texture of the sock knitted fabric. In addition, the continuously knitted sock fabric must be divided one unit at a time and transferred to the toe overlocking process where the toe is opened. For this purpose, either the knitting yarn of the long sock knitted fabric removed from the sock knitting machine is manually separated by cutting and removing a part of the knitting yarn in the part to be separated, or the yarn is wound up to save labor in removing the yarn. A separator device is used in which the roll is removed, a blower is installed, the knitting yarn is removed at the knitting opening of the cylinder, and the knitting yarn is separated using the pulling force of air.

However, the former is a work that is tiring on the eyes and has low work efficiency, and may result in defective products due to the scissors being accidentally inserted at a position other than the parting position. In addition, there is a risk that the texture of the knitted fabric may be impaired because a certain tension is not applied to the knitted fabric by the take-up roll.

The present invention has been proposed in view of the above circumstances, and its embodiment will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. The tip of a long and thin sheet metal is cut obliquely, and the height and width are slightly reduced from one edge of the upper surface. The lower guide member 2 is formed by integrally erecting a protrusion 1 having a U-shaped cross section, and a bracket 3 having a U-shaped cross section is erected on the bed 4 and extends over the lower part of the rising edges 3', 3'' of the bracket 3. The base end of the lower guide member 2 is fixed. The slide member 5 is slidably inserted into the bracket 3, and the pressure spring 6 is elastically supported across the lower surface of the slide member 5 and the bed 4, and the bracket 3 is raised. A lid body 7 is fixed horizontally between the upper parts of the edges 3' and 3'', and a set screw 9 is screwed into a screw hole 8 formed in the lid body 7. The upper guide member 10 is horizontally installed parallel to the lower guide member 2 while maintaining a gap, and the end portion is fixed to the slide member 5, and the lower surface of the upper guide member 10 and the protrusion 1 are fixed by screwing back and forth with the set screw 9. The gap can be adjusted freely. The lower guide member 2 is fixed to the rising spear edge 3' of the bracket 3. The mounting portion 12' protruding from the cutter 12 is coaxially pivoted to one of the screws 11, and the cutter 12 is attached to the lower guide member 2 and the upper guide member. Further, the torque motor 13 and the base end of the cutter 12 are connected by a crank rod 14, so that the cutter 12 can freely swing around the screw 11 as a fulcrum. Reference numeral 15 denotes a long sock knitted fabric that is continuously knitted, and as shown in FIG. 5, several courses are knitted from the cut portion 17 using only a thin core yarn from the knitted fabric main body portion 16, and then discarded knitting is performed from the cut portion 17. Part 18
The recessed cut portion 17 is manually inserted into a small gap formed between the lower guide member 2 and the upper guide member 10 so as to cover the protrusion 1 of the lower guide member 2. That's what I do.

Since the present invention is constructed in this way, the sock knitted fabric 1
5 is guided to the inner part while rubbing against the protrusion 1 provided on the lower guide member 2 and the lower surface of the upper guide member 10, and inserted into the knitted sock fabric 1 by the operation of the torque motor 13.
The cut portion 17 of 5 is accurately cut with the cutter 12, and therefore, dividing is extremely easy and quick, and there is no risk of producing defective products. Depending on the thickness of the sock knitted fabric 15, the set screw 9 is screwed back or forward, and the protrusion 1 of the lower guide member 2 and the upper guide member 10 are
Since the gap between the socks can be adjusted, the sock knitted fabric 15 can be inserted easily.
