Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve workability for forming a tire by providing a hard-rubber apex having a triangular section, on the outside diameter side of an annular rubber-covered hard steel wire bundle, and providing a steel filler made of rubber-covered metal cords on the side part of said apex. CONSTITUTION:A hard-rubber apex 2 having a triangular section is bonded on the outer peripheral side of an annular rubber-covered hard steel wire bundle 1, while a steel filler 3 which is formed by laminatedly winding one or plural rubber covered metal cords in the circumferential direction, is stuck on the side part of the apex 2, to form a bead wire. In this case, in order to reduce rigidity from the inside diameter H1 side to the outside diameter H0 by stages, steel fillers 3 having different heights H may be arranged in plural rows in the width direction of a tire. Thereby, workability for forming a tire can be improved.

(Problems to be solved by conventional technology and inventions) The progress of motor repetition in Japan is extremely remarkable, and the performance of automobiles is increasing at an accelerating rate. High-speed stability and grip performance have become more important than economic efficiency and comfort, and the rigidity of the tire bead can no longer be achieved with ultra-hard apex alone, so steel filler is now used in combination. became. The steel filler 11 is composed of a large number of cords at a desired height H and forming an angle α as shown in FIGS. 2(a) and 2(b). For this reason, the inner diameter side 1-11 and the outer diameter side H of the height l''
There are many cut end faces on both sides of the tire, and there is a risk that these cut end faces, which are not prepared for adhesion to the rubber, will have a negative effect on the adhesion to the rubber during tire transfer, especially during movement. It is even necessary to wrap the outer diameter HO side with rubberized cloth, where the temperature is severe. Also, the error range for height H is 2m/rQ
This value is extremely difficult to achieve using a method in which steel filler is attached to a single bead wire consisting of a hard steel wire bundle and an apex.

On the other hand, the method in which steel filler is applied to each bead during tire molding poses a problem in that the workability decreases by about 10%.

Purpose of the Invention (Means for Solving the Problems) In order to solve the above problems, the present invention provides an apex made of hard rubber having a triangular cross section on the outer diameter side of the annular rubber-coated hard steel wire bundle. A steel filler in which rubber-coated metal rods are laminated in the circumferential direction is provided on the side of the apex.

(Function) A bead made of a hard steel wire bundle and an apex is filled with steel filler, which has only one cut end face on the inner diameter side and one outer diameter side, and can easily clear the tolerance range of height T1. By providing the bead wire directly on a single wire, it is possible to provide a bead wire that does not reduce the workability of tire molding.

(Example) An example of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1(a) and 1(b). An apex 2 made of hard rubber and having a triangular cross section is attached to the outer circumferential side of an annular rubber-coated hard steel wire bundle by adhesive. A steel filler (also referred to as a steel chafer) 3, which is constructed by laminating and winding a single coated metal cord in the circumferential direction, is attached to the side of the apex 2. The steel filler 3 is covered with rubber and can be wound in a laminated manner not only with one metal cord but also with a plurality of metal cords. Also, steel fillers with different heights can be arranged in double rows in the tire axial direction for gradual reduction of rigidity from the inner diameter 1 side to the outer diameter 0 side. Although the main parts of the present invention have been described in this embodiment, it goes without saying that the presence or absence of a known rubber-coated bead cover or bead flipper is included within the scope of the claims of the present invention.

Effects of the Invention Since the steel filler of the bead wire of the present invention is made by laminating and winding rubber-coated metal cords in the circumferential direction, there are only two cut end surfaces of the metal cord: the winding start end and the winding end end. If they were placed on the same line in the radial direction, the whole could be made into a perfect circle. In addition, since it is easily possible to arrange the steel filler alongside the annular rubber-coated hard steel wire bundle, the steel filler can easily and easily clear the tolerance range for the height H of the spool filler. Since a steel filler is provided directly on the bead wire consisting of a wire bundle and one ipex, there is no difference in handling the bead wire in the tie molding process compared to conventional bead wires.
