PURPOSE:To make it possible to connect a heat collector and a hot water storage tank to each other at a shortest distance by accommodating a heat collecting plate into a box shaped casing so that one other surface of the heat collecting plate faces frontward, in a case where the hot water storage tank is installed on the back surface side of a heat collector. CONSTITUTION:Water inlet ports 8a and 8'a and water outlet ports 8b and 8'b of heat collecting plates 8 and 8' are provided at horizontally symmetric positions, and these ports are formed to have the same outer diameter. Further, the heat collecting plates 8 and 8' are made of stainless steel plates and the like, and two heat collecting plates 8x and 8y having a symmetric contour are partially weld-deposited by welding or the like. Onto one main surface of the heat collecting plate, a selective absorption paint 8z is applied.
