Claims (1)

【特許請求の範囲】 1、用紙を挟持して所定の方向へ搬送する一対の搬送ロ
ーラと、これらの搬送ローラの近傍に設けられ、搬送ロ
ーラにより搬送される用紙と当接せず、搬送方向とほぼ
平行な第1の方向への排出を許可する第1の位置と、用
紙と当接し、これを前記第1の方向とは異なる第2の方
向へ偏曲して搬送する第2の位置とを選択的に占めるゲ
ートと、前記搬送ローラの出口近傍に配置され、前記ゲ
ートが第1位置にあるときには、搬送される用紙の各側
縁と当接し、用紙に腰を付けるように側縁を傾斜させた
一対の腰付板とを具え、第2位置にあるガイドおよび腰
付板の、用紙の側縁方向から見た形状をほぼ同一の曲面
形状としたことを特徴とする用紙排出装置。 2、用紙搬送方向から見た前記一対の腰付板の高さを異
ならせたことを特徴とする特許請求の範囲1記載の用紙
排出装置。
[Scope of Claims] 1. A pair of conveyance rollers that sandwich the paper and convey it in a predetermined direction, and a pair of conveyance rollers that are provided near these conveyance rollers and that do not come into contact with the paper conveyed by the conveyance rollers and that move the paper in the conveyance direction. a first position that permits ejection in a first direction substantially parallel to the first direction; and a second position that contacts the paper and conveys the paper by deflecting it in a second direction different from the first direction. a gate that selectively occupies a portion of the conveying roller; and a gate that is disposed near the exit of the conveying roller and that, when the gate is in a first position, contacts each side edge of the sheet to be conveyed, and a side edge so as to bear the sheet. A paper ejecting device comprising a pair of slanted waist plates, the guide and the waist plate at the second position having substantially the same curved shape when viewed from the side edge direction of the paper. . 2. The paper ejection device according to claim 1, wherein the pair of waist plates have different heights when viewed from the paper conveyance direction.
