明者等は、そのような切削屑団塊を切断しやすい
大きさに圧縮した後、切断し、細片となして排除
する装置を既に提供したが、切削屑団塊を切断す
る刃物は硬質金属で形成してはあつても、切削屑
が強剛であるから、該刃物の切断力はたちまちに
低下し、その取替えを要求されるところとなつ
た。
