たせたものもあるが、爪は自動高低装置の重量とばねの
強さと爪自身に働く抵抗とによって土壌に突き刺さるの
で高低位置が不安定であり、極度に硬い土壌に衝ったと
きは浮上し破砕効果を期待できないという問題がある。
