In measuring instruments, etc., which have a structure in which the inner device is inserted into and taken out from the outer case, it is necessary to use a cable that can be expanded and contracted when connecting the inner device and the outer case. In this case, the cable is folded in a zigzag manner into several layers, and the cable is used in the contracted state in the folded state and in the extended state in the state in which adjacent bent portions are spaced apart. Conventionally, as a support for the bent portion of this type of ribbon cable, for example, a rectangular frame and two opposite sides of this frame are engaged with both ends of the U-shaped frame, and the U-shaped frame is attached to the frame at right angles. There are structures in which a holding member made of a metal plate with a C-shaped cross section is attached from the outside at the same time as a core is passed through the bent part and a core is passed through the bent part as a support.

However, in the case of the above-mentioned support, the frame body and the U-shaped frame are formed separately and each of these is required as a support body, and a core and a holding member are also required, so it is difficult to use the parts as a ribbon cable holder. The disadvantage is that the number of points increases. Further, when a core and a holding member are used as a support, if the width of the ribbon cable is wide, it becomes difficult to assemble the core and the holding member. In the case of a core, there are drawbacks such as the need for a means to prevent the core from falling off, such as adhesive.

Therefore, in view of the above-mentioned drawbacks, the present invention reduces the number of parts and centralizes the function of supporting the ribbon cable, and also makes it easy to assemble the ribbon cable and eliminates the need for adhesive or other means to prevent it from falling off. The object of the present invention is to provide a support structure for the bent portion of a folded ribbon cable.

In order to achieve this purpose, the present invention includes two wall plates that are spaced apart and arranged side by side in accordance with the folded thickness of the ribbon cable, and a spacing between the two wall plates that corresponds to the width of the ribbon cable. Two support plates are formed of synthetic resin to bridge the two wall plates at both ends in the longitudinal direction and are erected vertically perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, and the two support plates A locking portion is provided on mutually opposing surfaces of the ribbon cable to restrict movement of the ribbon cable in the vertical direction,
Further, the surfaces of the two support plates facing each other can be bent at their free ends so as to widen the distance between the two support plates.

Here, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. 1 to 5 show embodiments of the support structure of the folded portion of the folded ribbon cable according to the present invention. In FIGS. 1 and 2, two wall plates 1a each having a length slightly wider than the width of the cable are arranged and spaced apart from each other to correspond to the folding thickness of the cable as the support 1 at the point where the cable is folded. This wall plate 1a is for keeping the cable parallel before and after the bending part so as to maintain the folded state of the cable, and is for preventing the cable from bulging before and after the bending part. Two support plates 1b are formed at both ends of the two wall plates 1a in the longitudinal direction to bridge the gap between the wall plates 1a and to be vertically erected at right angles to the longitudinal direction. The lower ends of these two supporting plates 1b are on the same plane as the lower end of the wall plate 1a, and the upper ends thereof protrude from the wall plate 1a. Support plate 1b
have two protrusions 1c and 1 above and below on opposing surfaces.
d is formed. These protrusions 1c and 1d are locking parts that lock the bent part of the cable, and both ends in the width direction of the bent part of the cable are connected to the protrusions 1c and 1d.
It is located between c and 1d (see Figure 3). and,
The upper protrusion 1c is to prevent the bent part of the cable from coming out to the outside (upper side), and the lower protrusion 1d is to prevent the bent part of the cable from coming out to the inner side (lower side).
This is to prevent it from entering. Therefore,
The protrusions 1c and 1d, which are locking portions, are for positioning the bent portion of the cable despite expansion and contraction of the cable. The support plate 1b itself is formed thinly by reducing the wall thickness at least at the free end so that it can be bent to widen the space between the two support plates 1b in order to attach a cable bending part to be described later, and the elasticity of the synthetic resin is reduced. It is used to bend and restore its shape.

Here, with reference to FIGS. 3a, b, and c, FIG.
The fitting of the cable into the support body 1 shown in FIG. 2 will be explained. When the cable 2 is folded, the cable 2 has a bent portion 2a. This bent portion 2a is inserted into the frame formed by the wall plate 1a and the support plate 1b of the support body 1, as shown in FIG. 3a. The cable 2 and bent portion 2a inserted as shown in Fig. 3b are connected to the support plate 1 as shown in Fig. 3c.
When the upper end of b is bent open and the dimension between the protrusions 1d becomes slightly larger than the width of the cable 2, the bent part 2a is positioned so that the protrusion 1d is located inside the bent part 2a, and the bending of the support plate 1b is If , the support plate 1b is restored. In this way, the cable 2, particularly the bent portion 2a, is assembled between the protrusions 1c and 1d.

FIG. 4 shows a state in which a ribbon cable in which a support member 1 is attached to a folded cable 2 is disposed between an outer casing (outer box) 3 and an inner device 4. When the inner device 4 is put in and taken out in the direction of the arrow in this state, the folding ribbon cable can be expanded and contracted, and at this time, the cable 2 and the support body 1 are assembled as shown in Fig. 3c.
With this structure, the cable 2 will not come off the support 1 and will be reliably supported by the support 1 as a folded ribbon cable.

FIG. 5 shows another example of the support 1. In the above embodiment, two protrusions 1c and 1d are provided as locking parts on both sides of the bending part 2a in the width direction to restrict vertical movement of the ribbon cable, but in FIG. In addition to providing a frame 1e, a protrusion 1f is also provided at the center of the support plate 1b, and the bent portion 2a of the cable 2 is locked in a groove between the protrusion frame 1e and the protrusion 1f.

Also, the support plate 1b for the width of the ribbon cable
In other words, the length of the wall plate 1a is the distance between the cables 2
It must be longer than the width of the ribbon cable in order to insert the bent portion 2a of the ribbon cable, but the extent of this length is determined by the degree of protrusion of the protrusions 1c, 1d and the protrusion 1f and the degree of flexure of the support plate 1b.

As explained in the above embodiments, according to the present invention, the supporting body functions as a clip, which is easy to form, and the ribbon cable can be supported only by the supporting body, resulting in cost reduction without increasing the number of parts as in the conventional case. It is very easy to assemble, as all you have to do is spread out the support plate and insert the bent part.
The synthetic resin material does not damage the cable, and the presence of the wall plate ensures that the cable is held on the support and does not wobble, making mounting extremely easy and reliable. Since the cable is protected by the locking part, it has various effects such as improved wear resistance and reliability.
