Abstract

PURPOSE:To detect water leakage in the outer wall, etc., of a building, by providing a material which generates a gas when reacting to water below a waterproofing layer and detecting the gas which is generated by the material reacting to water when the waterproofing layer cracks. CONSTITUTION:An asphalt primer 2 is applied to the surface of a concrete base 1 and a waterproofing layer is formed by sticking molten asphalt 3 to the surface of the primer 2. Then a material which is produced by laminating a sheet 4 containing a gas generating substance to a roofing 5 is put on the molten asphalt 3. After the material is put on the molten asphalt 3, the 2nd waterproofing layer is formed by sticking molten asphalt 6 again to the surface of the roofing 7. Then a roofing 7 is put on the 2nd waterproofing layer and the 3rd waterproofing layer is formed by sticking molten asphalt 8 to the surface of the roofing 7. Finally, a sand containing roofing 9 is stuck to the 3rd waterproofing layer 8 and this work is finished by apply ing silver paint 10 to the surface of the roofing 9. When water leakage takes place, rain water penetrates into the sheet layer 4 and the gas generating material generates a gas upon reacting to the water. When the gas is detected by means of a gas detector, leak test by filling water, etc., the abnormality of an outer wall, etc., can be known.

Conventional methods for detecting water leaks include a water test or, in some cases, mixing ultrafine powder pigments into the water test water to investigate the leakage route, or placing aluminum foil under the waterproof layer. Leave it there,
There was a method of detecting water leaks by using a detector from above to determine whether there was a current flow (the magnitude of electrical resistance). Recently, there has been a method in which fluorocarbon gas is injected from the water leakage part under the slab, and the 70 ton gas is detected at the top of the waterproof layer.

The light is about to change to the angle tL @J α However, since the conventional method of mixing pigments and the method of injecting CFC gas described above requires detection through the concrete structure, the permeation path of pigment water and gas is long, and it takes time to detect. There was also the problem of having to cut off the structure or destroy the walls and ceilings hiding it in order to detect it. Furthermore, in the case of electrical resistance, the reliability of detection is low, and the reality is that this method is not generally adopted at present.

The present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned conventional problems, and its purpose is to generate gas caused by water leakage from the leakage position of the waterproof layer and directly detect it. The object of the present invention is to provide a method that can detect a location.

[Configuration of the invention 1. 3. The water leakage detection method of the present invention is to place a substance that reacts with water to generate gas at the bottom or middle of the waterproof layer, or to mix it into an adhesive to detect water leakage. VF is detected by detecting the gas generated by the reaction with water and detecting the location of the water leak.
