Abstract

PURPOSE:To install various types of helical compression springs on the spring holder of a product by installing a pair of assembling heads for installing a spring, on an installing hand in such a way that the interval between said assem bling head is adjustable. CONSTITUTION:An installing hand 3 compresses a helical compression spring 9 until the distance between both end parts of the spring 9 is a little smaller than the interval of the spring holder 11 of a product, holds the helical compression spring 9 with its slits 4 and spring covers 5, and takes it out from a spring feeding device 10. The taken-out helical compression spring 9 is moved in a position over the spring holder 11 of the product and lowered, by means of the installing hand 3, and is stopped in a position in which the center of the helical compression spring agrees with that of the spring holder 11. Then, the installing hand 3 is opened, and both the end parts of the helical compression spring 9 which is expanded to its original length, are installed in the spring holder 11 and held by it. When the installing operation is over, the installing hand 3 is lifted up.

外径が小さく、かつ長さの短い圧縮コイルスプリングや
、組付はスペースが狭め場所への組付けは困難であり、
また装置が大きくて重くなるとともに構造が複雑になる

ネ9はバネ受け11.11から外れることはない。装着
用ハンド3は上昇後バネ供給装置lOの上方の所定位置
まで移動され、ワンサイクルの作業を終了する。上述の
操作を操り返すことにより、バネ供給装置lOに供給さ
れた圧縮コイルバネ9を順次所定間隔を有する製品ノハ
ネ受け11.IIK自動的に装着することができる。

に製品のバネ受けに装着することができる。
