ジヤと、記録情報に応じた画像光を感光体に投射
する露光手段と、感光体の静電潜像を現像する現
像器と、複写紙に感光体の顕像を転写する転写手
段とを有する記録装置を複数個配置し、転写ベル
トにより複写紙を各記録装置に順次搬送して画像
を重ね転写する画像記録装置において、各感光体
の一側端もしくは両側端に駆動係合手段が設けて
あり、前記転写ベルトに該駆動係合手段に係合す
る対向係合手段が設けてあり、搬送ベルトと複数
の感光体のうちの任意の１つを単一のモータによ
り駆動することにより搬送ベルトと全ての感光体
を同期駆動することを特徴とする画像記録装置の
