  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 多重伝送路につながる局のタイプを設定する局
    タイプ設定手段と、 伝送路に送信する為の設定データを格納する送
    信データ格納手段と、 伝送路から受信したデータを格納する受信デー
    タ格納手段と、 伝送路より送られてきた局タイプ信号を受信し
    、前記局タイプ設定手段で設定されたタイプと同
    一であるか否かを判定する局タイプ判定手段 とを備えた多重伝送装置において、 前記局タイプ設定手段の設定する局タイプは送
    信局、受信局及びループバツク局とし、 前記局タイプ設定手段でループバツク局を設定
    した場合に、前記局タイプ判定手段の局タイプの
    判定結果を無視し、送信データ格納手段に格納さ
    れたデータを伝送路に送信し、かつ伝送路のデー
    タを受信して受信データ格納手段に格納するよう
    に制御する制御手段 を設けたことを特徴とする多重伝送装置。
