下端部の外周がシリンダヘツドに形成した副室嵌
合凹部の内壁に圧入されて上下シール部を形成し
ており、この上下シール部の間では、前記副室嵌
合凹部の内壁と前記金属スリーブの外周との間に
断熱空間が形成されたエンジンの副室構造におい
て、 前記金属スリーブの下端部には、半径方向外方
に突出するツバ部が形成され、前記シリンダヘツ
ドの副室嵌合凹部の下部には前記金属スリーブの
前記ツバ部の外周面のほぼ全体と嵌合される嵌合
面が形成され、 前記金属スリーブの前記ツバ部の上面には、上
方に向けて突出する位置決め部材が設けられ、前
記シリンダヘツドの副室嵌合凹部の内壁面には、
前記嵌合面より上方に、前記位置決め部材に嵌合
する嵌合溝が形成されたことを特徴とするエンジ
