Glasses temples are generally made from wire that is stretched and formed into a predetermined shape by plastic processing, but for the purpose of use, the temples are further surface polished, and in the past, they were generally made by manual buffing one by one. Ta.
However, manual buffing has very poor polishing efficiency, leading to a rise in manufacturing costs, and on the other hand, there remains the problem that the polishing cost varies, making it impossible to achieve uniformity of the product. Of course, as a prior art, apparatuses for polishing eyeglass parts using a barrel are known, such as those disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 53318/1983 and Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 27671/1983. However, the barrel for the eyeglass temple polisher disclosed in Utility Model Publication No. 55-53318 has a clamping piece of pliers that keep the opening closed, such as vise pliers, fixed to the side of the barrel body, and the glasses temple to be polished can be removed from the outside using the clamping piece. Since it is fixed, it is not possible to polish the entire surface of the vine, and because the barrel is polished in a cantilevered state, the thin vines bend due to the pressure of the abrasive material flowing inside the barrel. Therefore, high-speed polishing is of course impossible.

On the other hand, in the barrel polishing machine for eyeglass frames according to Utility Model Publication No. 54-27671, a holder for fixing the object to be polished is installed in the barrel, but the object to be polished is not the vine but the eyeglass frame. It is the whole. Therefore, it is not possible to use this holder to secure the spectacle temple, and basically both ends of the holder are attached to both end plates of the barrel, but it is not possible to stabilize the temple by supporting both ends of the holder. A fastening means that can be fastened to the shaft and can counter the pressing force exerted by the flow of abrasive material accompanying high-speed rotation of the barrel, that is, the fastening means will not bend due to the pressing force. is desired. Therefore, the present invention aims to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks by using a barrel polisher in the process of polishing spectacle temples, and aims to provide a holder for safely fixing spectacle temples in the barrel polishing machine. That is.

The holder 1 according to the present invention includes a base column 11, a side plate 12,
Wire 13, stand 14, connecting plate 15, and fixing piece 20
A plurality of holes 16 are provided on the side surface of the base column 11, which is made of resin or the like which is softer than the material of the temple 2. The side plate 12 has an inverted L-shaped highly elastic wire 13, such as a piano wire, installed vertically in a number corresponding to the holes 16. Taking this into account, they are fixed in parallel on both sides with an appropriate interval between them via the stand 14 and the connecting plate 15. Furthermore, the heights of the inverted L-shaped wires 13 must be the same so that the temples 2 can be held (FIG. 1).

By the way, the locking portion of the wire 13 is not limited to the inverted L shape shown in FIG.
A single wire 13 is used as a T-shape as shown in Figure a.
Furthermore, in the case of a temple 2 that does not have a temple hole 19 for coupling with an eyeglass frame in the temple shaft 18, for example, a third temple 2 may be fixed to the temple 2.
In the case of a crane shaft 18 having a protrusion 23 as shown in the figure, the tip is shaped like a ring as shown in Figs. The hole 21 or the block 22 has a hole 21.

When using the holder 1 according to the present invention, the temple tip 17 is inserted into the hole 16 provided on the side surface of the base column 11.
Insert the locking part of the wire 13 into the temple hole 19 penetrated by the temple shaft part 18, and then close the temple 2.
is fixed to the holder 1. Both the temple 2 and the wire 13 are made of highly elastic materials, and can be easily fixed to the holder 1.

The holder 1 to which the temple 2 is fixed as described above is the stand 1
The fixing pieces 20 protruding from both ends of the barrel sander 4 are fixed in the barrel sander 3 as shown in FIGS. 4a and 4b. Although the barrel polishing machine 3 is not limited to the one shown in FIG. 4, the barrel polishing machine 3 is used by fixing the temples 2 with the holder 1 according to the present invention in the polishing process of the glasses temples 2. In particular, (a) dozens or more of the tendrils 2 can be fixed and held inside the barrel polisher 3 by the holder 1, making the polishing work much more efficient than conventional manual buffing. It can be accomplished.

(b) In addition, since conventional buffing is done manually, it is difficult to uniformly polish the entire surface of the temple 2.
In barrel polishing using the holder 1, the entire surface can be uniformly polished, and excessive local polishing can be prevented.

(c) Glasses temple 2 is thin and is made of a weak material with a low descending point, so it cannot be inserted from the side of the barrel by buffing or conventional cantilever support.
In the fastening means, extra force was applied and the temple 2 was bent, but by supporting both ends, the bending of the temple 2 can be completely eliminated. Furthermore, since one side of the temple is made of highly springy wire, the wire bears the fluctuations in the pressing force caused by the flow of abrasive material caused by the rotation of the barrel, making it possible to hold the temple more safely and at high speeds. This holder is also suitable for barrel polishing.
