Claims

A battery case having a contact point electrically connected to internal equipment of the electronic camera body and having a battery accommodating portion and detachably attached to the electronic camera body; and a battery case that is removably inserted into the accommodating portion of the battery case. What is claimed is: 1. A power supply device for an electronic still camera, characterized in that the power supply device comprises a battery that is attached to the camera case, and the power capacity of the battery case and the battery housed therein can be changed according to photographing conditions.
