Abstract

PURPOSE:To save the labor necessary for forcing mud into a tap hole by time- controlling various stages such as the stage of charging mud into a mud charge chamber from a slicer, and charging automatically mud into a mud gun. CONSTITUTION:Mud is charged into a mud charge chamber 3 from a slicer 6 at the first stage. A piston 4 for pushing the mud which is supplied in the chamber 3 into the cylinder 1 of a mud gun is moved forward from the initial position at the second stage. The piston 4 is moved backward to the initial position at the third stage. The time necessary for said first stage, the timing of the start of the second stage, the time required for the forward stroke, and the time needed for the third stage are set to a timer 12. Then the presence or absence of a confirmative signal for the filling of mud is detected by a mud detecting plate 8 provided at the nozzle 2 of the mud gun. マッド検出板によるマッド充填確認信号の有無を検出し
て、該信号の無い場合は、前記第一の工程から第三の工
程に至る動作を反復し、該信号が有った場合は、第三の
工程を終了したる後動作を停止することにある。

進する第二の工程の開始タイミングおよび前進ストロー
クに要する時間と、該ピストンが後退して初期位置に復
帰する第三の工程に要する時間を、予め定めてタイマー
をセットし、マッドガン筒先に設けたマッド検出板によ
るマッド充填確認信号の有無を検出して、該信号の無い
場合は、前記第一の工程から第三の工程に至る動作を反
復し、該信号が有つた場合は、第三の工程を終了した後
動作を停止することを特徴とするマッドガンにマッドを
充填する方法。
