ヤケツト相互を断面長孔の冷却液通路で連通させ
、通常、シリンダヘツドの冷却ジヤケツト内に液
面があるように冷却液が前記冷却ジヤケツト内に
供給されて、該冷却液の沸騰による気化潜熱によ
りエンジンの冷却を行うようにしたエンジンにお
いて、シリンダヘツドとシリンダブロツクとの間
に介装されるヘツドガスケツトの前記冷却液通路
に臨む開口部内周部に、リング状のシール用ラバ
ーと、該ラバー内に略リング状に装着されかつ一
部が切れて合口隙間を有する金属製中芯と、を配
設したことを特徴とするエンジンのヘツドガスケ
