ーの一端部に係合させたリフト制御カムの回動量
を制御してレバーの揺動位置を変化させることに
より、レバーとロツカアームとの接触する支点位
置を変化させて吸・排気弁のリフト特性を可変制
御する吸・排気弁リフト可変機構と、エンジンの
吸入負圧により前記リフト制御カムに挿通された
カム制御軸をリターンスプリングの付勢力に抗し
て回転させる負圧式アクチユエータと、カム制御
軸が負圧式アクチユエータまたはリターンスプリ
ングの付勢力により所定位置に回動したとき該カ
ム制御軸の回動を停止させる停止手段と、を備え
たことを特徴とする内燃機関の吸・排気弁リフト
