記シリンダチユーブの挿通穴に嵌合させ、前記ハ
ウジングのピストン側に嵌合孔を形成し、この嵌
合孔にステアリングロツド側をシールするオイル
シールを嵌合させてなるラツクアンドピニオン形
動力舵取装置において、前記オイルシールはステ
アリングロツド側をシールするシール部材とバツ
クアツプリングとからなり、バツクアツプリング
は、ステアリングロツドの半径方向の動きを規制
する規制部とこの規制部と直角方向に伸びシール
部材のリツプ部の変化を阻止するバツクアツプ部
とを有し、かつ内部に前記規制部とバツクアツプ
部に沿つて折れ曲がつた補強部材を埋設してなる
