Abstract

PURPOSE:To aim at enhancing the capacity of transfer of a conveyor for tea leaves, by attaching a retainer plate on the transferring surface of a belt conveyor, being spaced from the latter so that unroasted tea leaves are held between the retainer plates and the surface of the conveyor belt. CONSTITUTION:Unroasted tea leaves are set on the rear end of a belt conveyor 1 at a thickness which is larger than the space between the belt conveyor 1 and the retainer plate 4 made of acryl resin or the like on which unroasted tea leaves are liable to slip. At this time the rear end of the retainer plate 4 may be opened and closed, as indicated by the arrow, to be adapted to the amount of unroasted tea leaves. With this arrangement the unroasted tea leaves are advanced by means of the belt conveyor 1 and enter into the space between the retainer plate 4 and the conveyor 1 so that they are pressed against the transfer surface of the belt conveyor 1. With this arrangement, the unroasted tea leaves are formed into a thick layer-like shape and transferred as one unit body, thereby it is possible to enhance the transfer capacity of the conveyor for roasted tea leaves.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION Field of Industrial Application The present invention relates to a feeding conveyor for raw tea leaves, and in particular, a presser plate is mounted on the transfer surface of the conveyor at an appropriate interval, and the raw tea leaves are transferred between the transfer surface and the presser plate. It is characterized by being transported by sandwiching it in between.

The storage tank of this raw tea leaf management device is equipped with an input conveyor, which allows raw tea leaves to be input into the storage tank.By the way, since tea processing plants are relatively small, the installation area of the input conveyor is small. It is subject to considerable restrictions.

However, raw tea leaves have several leaves attached to one stem.
Because they have some elasticity and have an extremely large apparent volume under no load, the processing capacity of the input conveyor is too small for the amount of raw tea leaves, and it takes a long time to load the raw tea leaves into the storage tank. That's what it takes. As a result, the raw tea leaves wilt,
This results in a decline in the quality of the green tea product.

Means for Solving the Problems The present invention solves the drawbacks of the conventional input conveyor described above, and as mentioned above, the bulk specific gravity of raw tea leaves is extremely low when unloaded. When compressed, the raw tea leaves become connected to each other, and when force is applied to the blade side, this force also acts on the other side. A holding plate is attached to maintain the distance between the two, and the raw tea leaves are sandwiched between the two and transferred. This greatly improves the transfer capacity of the input conveyor compared to conventional methods, and also makes the conveyor vertical. This makes it possible to significantly reduce the installation area.

Reference numeral 1 in the figure is a belt conveyor. Like the conventional feeding conveyor, this conveyor belt is provided with raking protrusions 2 at appropriate intervals to eliminate the possibility of slipping between the conveyor belt and the raw tea leaves, and to apply the conveying force of the conveyor to the raw tea leaves. It is designed to ensure reliable communication. Note that there is no particular limitation on the inclination angle of the belt conveyor 1. In the figure, one formed vertically is shown as an example.

The raw tea leaves are appropriately compressed and sandwiched between this presser plate 4 and the transfer surface of the belt conveyor 1, and are transferred. The presser plate 4 is formed using a plate material such as acrylic resin that is easy for raw tea leaves to slip. It is something. Of course, the distance between the presser plate 4 and the transfer surface of the belt conveyor 1 determines the transfer force of the raw tea leaves, so it is preferable to adjust the distance as appropriate. Since the transfer surface of the belt conveyor 1 regulates the amount of raw tea leaves that are sandwiched between the presser plate 4 and the transfer surface, it is important that this portion be openable and closable so that the interval can be adjusted.

Note that a presser roll 5 may be attached to the lower edge portion of the presser plate 4 instead of the presser plate. In this way, the risk of the raw tea leaves being damaged by the lower edge of the presser plate 4 is eliminated.

Effects of the Invention As detailed above, the present invention takes advantage of the fact that when raw tea leaves are compressed, the force applied to one side of the raw tea leaves also acts on the other. The presser plate 4 is attached at intervals, and when raw tea leaves are placed on the rear end of one belt conveyor 1 thicker than the distance between the presser plate 4 and the belt conveyor 1, the raw tea leaves are placed on the belt conveyor 1. As it rotates, it moves forward and eventually gets between it and the presser plate 4.

Then, the raw tea leaves are pressed by the presser plate 4 and are pressed against the belt conveyor 1 by the presser plate 4, so even if the raw tea leaves are thickly placed on the belt conveyor 1 and some are not in contact with the conveyor belt. Regardless, the conveying force of the belt conveyor 1 is transmitted to all raw tea leaves. That is, since the raw tea leaves are transferred while being sandwiched between the presser plate 4 and the belt conveyor 1, the raw tea leaves can be transferred regardless of the inclination angle of the belt conveyor 1. As a result, the limit of the conventional input conveyor was an inclination angle of about 60 degrees, and the transfer capacity was extremely small, whereas the input conveyor of the present invention can make the belt conveyor vertical. Since a large amount of raw tea leaves can be transferred, a large amount of raw tea leaves can be put into the storage tank in a short time without requiring a large installation area.
