Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate setting a recording paper and prevent a line pitch in line feeding from fluctuating, by a construction wherein a vertically movable paper guide is pressed upward by a spring with a spring constant rapidly varied. CONSTITUTION:A rolled form recording paper 1 is placed in a casing 2, an end of the paper 1 is inserted between a rubber roller 3 and the paper guide 9, and when the roller 3 is rotated, the end of the paper 1 is pulled while being wound around the roller 3, and the guide 9 is depressed downward against the force of a helical spring 10. In this condition, recording is conducted. In line feeding, the roller 3 is rotated, and the paper 1 is pulled. When a roll part 1a of the paper 1 is large, the guide 9 is depressed further downward, and a length of the paper 1 corresponding to the displacement of the guide 9 is fed. An arm part of the spring 10 making contact with a boss 2c produces a larger force for pressing the guide 9 upward, and after line feeding, the guide 9 rotates the roll part 1a, resulting in an initial condition.

is a motor that drives the carriage 6 by means of a timing belt 7. - The operation of the printer configured as above will be explained below. First, put the recording paper 1 into the case 2, insert the end of the recording paper 1t1 between the case 2 and the rubber roller 3, rotate the rubber roller 3 with the motor 4, and start recording.
The recording paper 1 is set by winding the paper 1 around the rubber roller 3. After setting the recording paper 1, when printing is to be performed, the kill ridge 6 is moved by the motor 8 via the timing belt 7, and the print head 5 records one line. When changing the line, the motor 4 rotates the rubber sheath 3 to feed the recording paper 1 and change the line.

However, in the conventional configuration described above, when setting the recording paper 1, if the space between the roll portion 1a of the recording paper 1 and the rubber sheath 3 is narrow, if the recording paper 1 is placed in the case 2, the end of the recording paper 1 is placed in the case. 2 and the rubber roller 3, so before placing the recording paper 1 on the case 2, insert the end of the recording paper 1 between the case 2 and the rubber roller 3, and then insert the end of the recording paper 1 between the case 2 and the rubber roller 3. After winding, the recording paper 1 must be placed in the case 2, and the insertion position is on the back side of the rubber roller 3 for the operator, so when setting the recording paper 1, it is necessary to place the recording paper 1 into the case 2. It is extremely inconvenient to have to look into the
Furthermore, if the roll portion 1a of the recording paper 1 has a large diameter and is heavy, the inertia of the roll portion 1a of the recording paper 1 will not allow sufficient paper feeding due to sudden line feed. However, there is a problem in that the row pitch may vary.

Regarding the printer of this embodiment configured as described above,
The operation will be explained below. First, as shown in Figure 4, [
A roll-shaped recording paper 1 is placed in the case 2, the end of the recording paper 1 is inserted between the rubber roller 3 and the paper guide 9, and when the rubber roller 3 is rotated by the motor, the recording paper 1
Since the end of the rubber roller 3 is wrapped around and pulled, the fifth
As shown in the figure, the paper guide 9 is pushed down in the direction 1 against the force of the helical spring 10. In this state, recording is performed, and when performing line feed, the rubber [] - lacey rotates and the recording paper 1 is pulled.
- If the roll portion 1a is large, due to the inertia of A, the roll portion 1a
Since the paper guide 9 attempts to stand still, the paper guide 9 is further pushed down, resulting in the state shown in FIG. 6, and the recording paper 1 of a quality corresponding to the amount of movement of the paper guide 9 is fed. The helical spring 10 moves between the state shown in FIG. 4 and the state shown in FIG.
Although the force pushing up the Uber guide 9 upward is relatively weak, between the state shown in FIG. 5 and the state shown in FIG. The force pushing up the paper guide 9 becomes stronger,
After line feed, the guide 9 is placed on the roll portion 1a of the recording paper 1.
Rotate to get the state shown in Figure 5. When the recording paper 1 runs out, the paper guide 9 is pushed upward by the hanging spring 10 and returns to the state shown in FIG. 4.

According to this embodiment, a paper guide that slides toward each other is provided between the roller portion 1a of the recording paper 1 and the rubber roller 3. 2
b and 2c are configured so that the spring constant changes rapidly, and when setting the recording paper 1 with the paper guide 9 pushed upward, the end of the recording paper 1 is inserted from directly above, making it easy to set. At the same time, when feeding a line, the paper guide 9 moves the recording paper 1, which is good enough for one line, to the roll section 1.
11! of the roll section 1a of the recording paper 1 in order to prepare for pulling it up from a. ! It is possible to prevent deviations in row pitch due to damage.

Effects of the Invention As described above, according to the present invention, a paper guide is provided that moves up and down between the [neel part of the recording paper and the paper feed [ ]-ra for feeding the recording paper, and By pushing the paper guide upward using a spring whose spring constant changes rapidly, the recording paper can be easily set and the line pitch can be prevented from shifting due to the inertia of the recording paper roll. This is one of the ways in which an excellent link can be realized.
