Claims (1)
、ゴムまたはテフロン樹脂等の弾性シール部材か
らなるリツプシールによつて構成し、該シール部
材をシヤフト側に気密的担持するとともに、該シ
ール部材の内径に構成した環状リツプ部をハウジ
ング側シール部外周に弾性的に密接せしめ、かつ
該リツプ部に連接して、上記シヤフトの回転に伴
い外径外方に拡径し、上記リツプ部を上記シール
部外周から後退離間するようになる回転浮上機構
を構成してなることを特徴とするメカニカルシー
ル。 (2) 前記回転浮上機構がシール部材のリツプ部
から延びる筒状縁の内径面に形成した翼状切欠で
あることを特徴とする実用新案登録請求の範囲第
1項記載のメカニカルシール。 (3) 前記回転浮上機構が、シール部材のリツプ
部から延びる円周方向に分割された弧状片と、該
各弧状片に固設した重鎮とからなることを特徴と
する実用新案登録請求の範囲第1項記載のメカニ
カルシール。 (4) 前記二次シールがネジシール等の非摺動型
シールであることを特徴とする実用新案登録請求
の範囲第1項ないし第3項記載のメカニカルシー
