り、該排気胴体は電池のセル開口に封口係台のためのプ
ラスチツクから形成されたもので鼠り、該排気胴体は孔
を備えた隔室を内部に形成し該孔を通し電池セル内から
のガスを該隔室内へ流入せしめることを許容するもので
あり、該排気胴体は該隔室の上端を被覆するための該排
気胴体の上端と該水平枠体との間に介在される多孔性材
料からつくられた盤を含んでおり、該盤はガスを該排気
胴体から上方に逸出せしめ得ると共に火焔の電池内への
下侵入を阻止し得る多孔性材料からつくられたもので、
更に、該隔室内のガスが該盤を介して容易に逸出するこ
とを許容するようにすると共に該水平枠体と該盤との間
の空間内への火焔の侵入を阻止するために該盤のまわり
にガス逸出域を形成するように、該水平枠体と該盤との
間の少なくともするととも一部に、0.038センチメ
ートル(0.015インチ)より小さい空間離隔を維持
するための離隔手段を備える蓄電池のセル開口閉塞用防
爆排気装置。 2 該排気胴体は、 (イ) プラスチック成形の筒状本体と、{口}該本体
と一体に成形され且つ該本体の内部に存し該内部を上部
及び下部隔室に分割するようにした下方にテーパーに形

つこれらと一体に成形された、該バツフルを該孔の上方
に支すると共にガスを該上部隔室内へ逸出せしめるよう
にした、角度みに互に間隔を存し配設された複数個の桁
と、(ヘ)該枠体に対し下に横たわる関係に該本体の上
端部内へ丁度よく嵌め込まれ且つ該上部隔室の上端を覆
う盤と、 から成り、更に該盤はガスを該上部隔室かd上方に逸出
することを許容し得ると共に火焔の該上部隔室への下向
侵入を阻止し得る多孔性材料から成るようにしたことを
