Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance durability and reduce frictional noise while maintaining excellency in separating performance by making the separator rubber, which is to separate original text sheets one after another in co-operation with a separator roller, of polyurethane rubber, and by providing its surface with unevenness. CONSTITUTION:This sheet feeding device includes a payoff roll 1 to transport original text sheets, a separator roller 2 and separator rubber 3 to serve in co-operation for separating the paid-off originals one for another, and a bracket 4 and a spring 4' to work in cooperation for putting the separator rubber 3 in pressure contact with the separator roller 2. Here the separator roller 3 in formed from polyurethane, and its surface is provided with unevenness. This will reduce its contact area with the separator roller 2 to lead to decrease of the frictional noise lokely to be generated at the time of separation. Further, urethane rubber is excellent in durability as well as has a great coefficient of friction, so that excellent separating performance can be maintained despite unevenness on the surface.

■Prior Art Conventionally, the separation mechanism used in document feeders has generally used a combination of chloroprene rubber for the separation roller and carbon-containing natural rubber for the separation rubber. However, the color of the carbon contained in the 1-separation rubber blackens the surface of the white reading roller of the 1-magnification sensor, which interferes with reading. has the disadvantage that wear becomes noticeable.

■ 目的 本発明は、上記の問題点を解決する為のもので。■ Purpose The present invention is intended to solve the above problems.

Despite its simplified mechanism, it has excellent separation and paper feeding performance,
Furthermore, it is an object of the present invention to realize an automatic document feeder for copying machines, facsimile machines, etc., which can improve reliability and durability.

■Structure For example, in a device that uses a full-size sensor for reading, a white roller (silicon, etc.) is used for conveyance (reading). Therefore, if a colored roller containing carbon or the like (gloloprene, natural rubber, etc.) is used for the minute 111 com, the roller surface may be contaminated and reading may be hindered. However, white rubber has poor strength and is easily abraded.

In that respect, urethane rubber has excellent strength and durability, but
When used in separating rubber, it generates noise when separated due to its coefficient of friction. The countermeasures are described below.
