Claims

In a sealed endoscope in which the inside of the endoscope body is sealed from the outside, a communication path provided in a connector portion of a light guide cable connected to an endoscope light source device and communicating between the inside and outside of the endoscope body; a cap member whose positions can be selected to open and close the communication passage so that the position where the communication passage is opened and the position where the communication passage is closed are different;
a locking means for holding the cap member in a position where the cap member closes the communication passage;
