虫薬液の残量とその防虫能表示との間にズレが生じたり
、あるいは表示機能面°1    に沿った表面部分へ
の防虫薬液の流出または浸出により、その表示が不正確
となったり、また場合によっては使用し難いなどの懸念
があった。

揮散ガス半透過性材を用いる場合にても、その表面では
防虫薬液剤の流出又は浸出はなく、その揮散ガスの放出
も極めて少ないものであった。この防虫能表示器兼用防
虫材を立役状態(後記するように第10図及び第11図
に示す)で室内に配置し使用した場合に於いて、含有防
虫薬液剤の揮散ガスのほとんどは基板材2の裏面から徐
放的に放出され、その表示機能面での呈色は約6ケ月間
そのまま維持されると共に、有効な防虫効を発揮した。
