立品を嵌合し、上記封口ガスケツトを上記正極缶
の内周面と内底面の角部に嵌合するとともに、上
記正極缶の開口端縁部分を内側へカール成形する
ことによつて上記封口ガスケツトを圧縮し、電池
内部を密閉する構造の偏平形電池において、上記
セパレータの周縁部分の所定個所に、他の部分よ
り厚みを小さくした空気抜き促進用の薄肉部を形
成したことを特徴とする偏平形電池。 (2) セパレータの上記薄肉部が、上記正極合剤
の周側面に接する部分に設けられていることを特
