に支持される感光体と、該感光体に隣接配置され少くと
も現像スリーブを含む現像回転系を回転自在に支持する
一対の現像側板を備えた現像装置と、現像側板、本体側
板間に配備きれ、現像回転系を駆動する駆動系と、一側
端が現像装置の支持部となっていて他側端が感光体の回
転方向に対し現像スリーブの上流側に感光体周面に臨む
ように配備される本体ケーシング部とを備え、駆動系へ
の現像剤飛散の遮断を行なうべく、感光体、本体側板、
現像側板およびケーシング部の他側端で囲まれる、駆動
系側の領域部位にシール部材を介設したことを特徴とす
