  1. コロナ放電電極と、このコロナ放電電極を囲み
    少なくとも放電用開口を有するシールド部材とを
    有するコロナ放電装置において、上記シールド部
    材と被放電体との距離を、被放電体の移動方向に
    関して、上流側では小さく、下流側では大きくす
    ることを特徴とするコロナ放電装置。
