Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform partitioning operation reliably by inserting an partitioning/ receiving member into notes while matching with the timing for transferring the partitioned section of a row of notes windened more than average overlapping pitch to the stacked section. CONSTITUTION:In partitioning device of printed note stacker, a forked partitioning/receiving member 3 for partitioning every predetermined number is waited above the note colliding section of a guiding member crossed in fork then a classifying device comprised of a classifying board 7 and a classifying table 8 will perform damming operation to widen the classifying section of a row of notes more than average overlapping pitch. While matching with the timing for transferring the widened section to the stacked section, the waiting partitioning/receiving member 3 is transferred to the direction opposite from the discharging direction simultaneously with lowering of the notes 11 below the discharging level. Consequently, small bundle under stacking is partitioned and passed to a small bundle receiving member 4 then retreats from the guide member 5 and resets to next partitioning position.

``Prior art'' The printed matter printed by a printing machine is cut and folded into a predetermined size by a folding machine, and then it is further stacked by a stunker, and then paper is applied to the top and bottom of the paper. The tying machine applies the < nt. In order to hang the printed documents on a bat, the printed documents are almost always in a pinch and are thrown into pieces. b:, j: every day tzc

When it is further folded into four, the eastern part of the fold becomes the highest. Therefore, in order to make a large bundle with a good packaging shape that is close to a rectangular parallelepiped, it is necessary to stack the small bundles with their orientation changed 180 degrees, and to make the small bundle, it is necessary to stack the small bundles of printed materials that flow in. It is necessary to divide it into a certain quantity suitable for

The conventional method used for this purpose is 1. For example, the printed signatures flow on a conveyor and are dropped one after another onto a partition plate, and when a specified quantity is reached, a stomper on the conveyor is activated to remove the signatures. After temporarily stopping the flow completely, the partition plate is retracted to partition the notebook, and then the partition plate is returned to its original position, and the stopper is also released with a force of 13+1. In addition, as an example of a pond, a stopper is not used and there is a stream of paper between two papers that flow continuously in the opposite direction to the flow of the papers.
There is a method of inserting a partition plate, but it is difficult to insert a partition plate between the documents that are sent in 4 to 5 squares at a speed of 10 parts to 20 parts per second.

Figures 6 and 7 are one of the conventional examples, and 5 in 1 drawing.
1 is a printed matter, and the printed matter 51 is a belt conveyor 52.5
3, 54, and 55, the printed matter 51 falls freely onto the printed matter receiver 58A, which serves to partition the printed matter 51, and is accumulated therein. When a predetermined number of printed matter 51' has been accumulated, the stopper 56 is activated, and the knot 51 upstream of the stopper 56 is stopped.
The printed material 51 is no longer transported from the brim to the flow and gradually accumulates on the upstream side, and edges are formed between the printed material 51 and the belt conveyor 54, resulting in scratches on the printed material 51.

In the above case, the pinch is the same as usual, so it is relatively narrow at 4 to 5 cm like the one in front, and the printed matter 62 is 1 second per second.
It flows at a fast speed of 0 to 20 parts. Therefore, the time lag for inserting the permission key into the predetermined sorting position is an extremely short time of about 57,100 seconds, and the multiple hook-shaped claws can cause the folded notebook to be separated into pieces and caught in the upper F. There was a drawback that the tip of the nail and the tip of the notebook could hit each other, causing trouble.

``Problems to be solved by the invention'' The invention has improved the above-mentioned drawbacks of the conventional technology, and although the section that serves as a stopper allows the device to sink once, the damming time is extremely short and it is cost-effective. In the 11th division, the part is expanded more than the average type or pitch, and the waiting partition receiving member is moved in the direction opposite to the direction of ejecting the signatures at the timing when this expanded part moves to the signature stacking part. The object of the present invention is to provide a partitioning device which partitions the small bundles that are being deposited by lowering them almost simultaneously.

Then, when the partition receiving member 3 descends to the position 3b, it continues to retreat to the position 3c, and then rises to the position 3d δ and waits. Incidentally, when the operation is started and there are no receipts flowing, it is also possible to move forward to 3a and wait. Further, a detailed explanation of the movement from 1:T to 3b to 3d after passing the signature 11 to the small bundle receiving member 4 will be given later.

On the other hand, the small bundle receiving member 4, which has received the signatures 11 from the partition receiving member 3, continues to descend at a controlled speed so as to keep the level of the top surface of the signatures almost constant, and by the time it reaches the position of the flap 4a. , the said division is for air shilling 9. A sorting signal from the counting section is sent to ``to'', and the plate 71 for sorting and the stand 8 for sorting descend and rise, respectively, to suppress the slippage of the signature 11 from above and below and temporarily stop it. Although the pause time here is very short, the signature 11 is divided into sections, and the pitch between the tips of the signatures 11a and 11b is average or larger than a pinch.

The small bundle receiving member 4, which is rapidly switched to the position 4b described above and lowered, descends into the gap 718 to the conveyor for transferring small bundles provided below, and is slightly lowered from the upper surface of the belt of the conveyor [8]. At this time, the small bundle of signatures is transferred to the conveyor 18, and at the same time as this transfer is completed, the conveyor 18 is driven to transfer it to the right, and when the rear end of the small bundle of signatures passes the tip of the small bundle receiving member 4, The small and medium receiving member 4 is rapidly moved one time and returned to the samurai purchase of l↓C, and the small bundle of signatures thus dropped can be used in another process.

As mentioned above, the partition receiving member 3 is integrally attached to the slide blocks 44 and 44'.+In FIG. is moved towards the chain wheel 39' (sealed roller chain 743
' pulls the slide block 44 to l1 position. Then, when the slide pro 44 moves to the left, the roller chain 743 rotates the chain wheel F42 and the rotating shaft 41 clockwise.
When the chain wheel 42' in FIG. 5 is rotated clockwise by the rotating shaft 41, the roller chain 47 moves the slide block 44' to the left, and the partition receiving member 3 moves to the left. When the air/ring 35 operates in the direction of contracting the piston rod 37, the partition receiving member 3 moves to the right due to the circular action. With this configuration, the stroke of the piston rod 37 can be reduced to half of the horizontal movement distance of the partition receiving member 3, thereby making it possible to reduce the size. The mechanism for vertical movement of the small bundle receiving member 4 is the same as the mechanism for vertical movement of the partition receiving member 3, so a description thereof will be omitted.

The signature 11 taken out from the printing machine is conveyed in a constant pinch, and reaches the carrier controller 71.
When the tip of the notebook blocks the phototube 12.13, this signal is transmitted to the counter. The signatures continue to be advanced, and the counter starts counting the preset small bundle of 1 East worth of signatures using this signal as a reference point. Further, when the front end of the signature is shielded from light, the partition receiving member 3, which has been waiting at the position 3a, rapidly descends due to the operation of the signature receiving start position ff13f indicated by a solid line and the air nolling 24, and then stops. The signatures 11 conveyed from the carrier conveyor 1 to the carrier conveyor 1' are sent onto the partition receiving member 3 and are gradually deposited, and the deposited small bundles are detected by a photo sensor (path shown) provided on the guide body 5. After a certain period of time has elapsed, the partition receiving member 3 descends, and when the level drops, it stops and is lowered while keeping the level of the top surface of the notebook almost constant. When the upper surface 3' of the partition receiving member 3 coincides with the t-plane 4' of the small bundle receiving member 4, the partition receiving member 3 is moved from the position 3b to the position 30 by the operation of the flick 35 in response to a signal from a proximity sensor (not shown). Then, the signatures deposited on the partition receiving member 3 are transferred onto the small bundle receiving member 4. Furthermore, the partition receiving member 3 is continuously displaced from the position 3C to the standby position 3d where it is in operation by the operation of the cylinder 24.

The small bundle receiving member 4, which has received the signatures, descends while keeping the top surface of the signatures at a substantially constant level, similar to the bulk receiving member 3. They are aligned by swinging one of the left and right guide bodies. When the small bundle receiving member 4 descends to the position 4a indicated by the -jO line, a signal for ejecting the small bundle 1 east is transmitted from the counter μ to the control box, and at the same time, the air cylinders 9 and 1O are activated. The board 7 for the division and the platform 8 for the division are lowered and raised respectively to stop the signature 11 to the north of the carrier container 1 and temporarily stop it. Then, the small bundle receiving member 4 rapidly descends to the position 4b, and at a timing slightly delayed from the start of this descent, the partition receiving member 3 returns from its standby position 3d to the signature receiving start position 3f shown by the solid line. He was forced to rapidly descend and move to the left.

At the same time, the air cylinders 9 and 10 return the partition plate 7 and the partition table 8, and the once stopped signature 11 moves forward again. Although the above-mentioned temporary stop time is extremely short, the signature 11 is divided into sections, and the pitch of the tip portions of the signatures 11a and 11b is approximately two to three times the pitch of the average type.

By the time the tip of the signature 11 hits the guide body 17, the signature Lla has fallen slightly, and about half of the signature 11b remains on the carrier conveyor 1', so there is no space between the signature 11a and llb. Since a large gap A is created, the partition receiving member 3 descends from the standby position 3d as shown in BO I, moves to the left and rejects as shown by the arrow, and at the position 3e, the partition receiving member 3 is inserted into the signature 11a and ll.
b, and further advances to the starting position of 3f to perform partitioning.

As mentioned above, the damming time of Signature 11 is extremely short, so
There is no pitch jamming and accumulation of signatures 11 in the damming part, so no scratches occur.
Further, the small bundle receiving member 4 that has been lowered to the position 4b passes the small bundle of signatures to the conveyor 18, and then returns to the old position.

``Effects of the Invention'' As described above, the present invention provides transport carriers 1 and 1' for transporting the printed documents 11 that are shifted and overlapped from the printing machine almost in the water direction, and a section provided in the middle of the transport carriers 1 and 1', , a fork-shaped partition receiving member located opposite the end discharge portion of the conveyance carrier and movable in the horizontal direction and the vertical direction, and a small signature bundle receiving member 3 provided below the fork-shaped partition receiving member and movable in the I/F direction.
and a guide body 5 that guides the small bundle of signatures received by the partition receiving member 3 and the small signature bundle receiving member 4 and transferred downward. A fork-shaped partition receiving member for partitioning the eaves is placed on standby above the elimination colliding portion of the guide body that intersects with the fork-like elongation elongation receiving member in a fork-like manner. A damming operation is performed to make the portion wider than the average shape or pitch, and the partition receiving member 3, which is waiting, is moved in a direction opposite to the ejection direction of the signatures at the timing when this expanded portion shifts to the signature stacking area. The small bundles in the middle of being deposited are partitioned by operating almost simultaneously with the transition and the descending below the ejection level of the signature, and after passing the small bundles in the middle of being deposited to the small bundle receiving member waiting below, the guide body By evacuating from the room, rising, and returning to the next partitioning position, the time required for damming the device to be minimized in one section, and the partitioning operation can be performed while suppressing the condition of pitch clogging that occurs in the section of the e-book queue. This is to ensure that this is carried out reliably.

Therefore, in order to separate the documents that are conveyed in a staggered manner at a constant pitch into a certain number of units, this device is equipped with a device for separating the documents, but the damming time is extremely short, and the division of the document procession is very short. The area is expanded to about 2 to 3 times the average pitch, and a J-receiving member is inserted between the notebooks at the same time as the expanded section transitions to the stacked notebook section to create a partition. Conventional partitioning is much easier and more reliable than without the device.
