吸込口２、吹出口３間に亘る空気通路４中に、ド
レンパン８を備えた蒸発器６とフアン７とを蒸発
器６が上流側となる前後の配列に設置すると共に
、蒸発器６をバイパスし得る側路５を設けて、前
記側路５における前記ドレンパン８よりも下方位
置に加湿器９を配設し、この加湿器９に前記ドレ
ンパン８のドレンを導かせてなる空気調和機にお
いて、前記加湿器９内に液面検出器１１を設けて
、設定した高水位及び低水位を検出可能とする一
方、前記加湿器９内の水位が下がつてきて、前記
設定低水位以下になつた際に液面検出器１１が発
信する低水位信号によつて、加湿器９の運転を止
め、同時に蒸発器６の冷却運転を行わせる一方、
逆に水位が上がつてきて前記設定高水位以上にな
つた際に、液面検出器１１を発信する高水位信号
によつて、蒸発器６の冷却運転を止め、同時に加
湿器９の運転を行わせる切換回路１２を設けたこ
