Abstract

PURPOSE:To decrease the number of operation members and to reduce the whole device in size and the cost thereof by providing control means for operating plural sheet feed means and the second sheet feed means with a designated relation therebetween. CONSTITUTION:Sheets fed out from the upper and lower sheet feed cassettes are transported to a transfer portion by a sheet feed roller 22. A lever 26 is co-operated with clutch 24 to check the transmission of turning force to a roller 17 when a solenoid 31 is not operated. As at this time, the lever does not act upon clutches 23, 25, the turning force is transmitted to rollers 16, 22. When a solenoid 32 is operated, a lever 27 transmits the turning force to the roller 16, and checks the transmission of turning force to the rollers 17, 22. Subsequently, when the solenoid 31 is operated, and the solenoid 32 is not operated, the transmission of turning force to the rollers 16, 17, 22 is reversed. れているので各クラッチの駆動力の伝達あるいは非伝達
を切り換えており、このために各クラッチに係合、前説
するレバーをそれぞれ作動部材を介して作動させて各ロ
ーラの回転あるいは停止を行わせ、これにより前記所望
の給紙カセット内の用紙を転写部に送り出すように構成
されていた。
