波していた。第2図でも明らかなように、B領域は比較
的細い超音波ビームが得られているが、A(近距離)お
よびC(遠距離)領域では太い超音波ビームとなり、方
位分解能が低下する。とシわけC領域における方位分解
能の低下は、従来のMSPの最も大きな問題点の一つで
あった。
