Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the fatigue of eyes in VDT work and to make spectacles fashionable by holding a couple of polarizing lenses at longer distance from a face than that of normal spectacles, and fitting one of the polarizing lenses attachably and detachably and linking it with a spectacle body through a chain or cord, etc. CONSTITUTION:The 1st polarizing lens 1 and the 2nd polarizing lens 2 are supported on frames 3 and 5 at longer distance from the face than that of normal spectacles. The 2nd polarizing lens 2 is disengaged from magnets 9 and 10, etc., when not necessary and suspended from beside the frame 3 through a chain, or cord 8, etc., and pads are higher than those of normal spectacles. The 2nd polarizing lenses 2 are put on the 1st polarizing lenses 1 during VDT work, and intense light emitted from a fluorescent body is relieved through the polarizing operation of those two polarizing lenses; when the eyes are directed downward for keyboard operation, natural light which is not passed through the spectacles enter the eyes because the polarizing lenses 1 and 2 are supported at distance from the face, so the operation is easily performed. The 2nd polarizing lenses while disengaged and suspended through the chain 8 serve as accessories.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention is a visual terminal (hereinafter referred to as VDT) glasses that are fashionable even when used for tasks other than work, and which do not cause eyestrain even when alternately looking at images and a keyboard. The invention relates to glasses that can be used as glasses.

(Technical background) There are various health problems associated with VDT work, but in VDT, the beam emitted from the electron gun hits a phosphor and emits light to form letters and pictures, so these letters flicker and their outlines are distorted. Not only is it unclear, but you have to alternately look at the keyboard, etc., and the strong light that is transmitted through the screen, which can cause severe eye strain, eye pain, fatigue during the day, and twitching eyelids. Patients reported complaints such as watery eyes, tearful eyes, and hot eyes, and decreased visual acuity. For this reason, health problems caused by VDT work have been an issue and research has been conducted in Europe and the United States for more than 10 years. In Japan, studies have been conducted in recent years led by the Ministry of Labor, and provisional guidelines for VDT work have been presented. According to the standards in Europe and the United States, continuous work is no more than one hour, and daily work hours are no more than four hours.

While health guidelines for such VDT work are being developed, the use of tinted glasses to attenuate the light from the phosphors is also being considered, but tinted glasses simply reduce the amount of light transmitted. Therefore, the entire screen becomes dark, and especially when looking at the keyboard, it becomes too dark and difficult to see.
I was making more mistakes and my eye health was also getting worse.

When looking at the screen, the strong light emitted by the phosphor is softened by the rotation and combination of two polarized lenses, reducing flickering and the like, while still allowing natural light to enter the eyes when looking at the keyboard. The problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide fashionable glasses that reduce eye fatigue during VDT work.

(Structure of the present invention) In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention provides glasses consisting of a pair of polarized lenses, in which these lenses are positioned further away from the face than normal glasses. By holding the lens in place, the pair of polarized lenses will not come into your field of vision when you turn your eyes downward to look at the keyboard, etc. One of the lenses is removable and is connected to the glasses body with a chain or string, so even when one polarized lens is removed, it hangs down to the side of the face and becomes an earring. It also serves as a similar ornament. Furthermore, the present invention can prevent nearsightedness or farsightedness by arranging a prescription or non-prescription clear lens below one of a pair of polarized lenses, or just for the sake of design. In addition to making it possible for people with farsightedness to perform ■T tasks just by wearing the glasses, the design also incorporates many elements that can be used as accessories.
These are fashion glasses for VDT.

(Function) The fashion glasses for VDT work of the present invention have two polarized lenses at the direct viewing position, and polarize the flickering light that is emitted when the beam from the electron gun hits the phosphor and hits the eyes. This function changes the amount of light and softens the light without reducing the contrast, and if you roll your eyes downward, you can see the keyboard directly or through the transparent lens. Furthermore, when not performing VDT work, one of the polarized lenses can be removed and hung from a part of the holder to the side of the face, so the polarized lens also functions as an accessory like earrings. .

(Effects) Because of the above-mentioned effects, the fashion glasses for VDT work of the present invention can be used for VDT work for a long time.
No one will complain of eye pain, tearing, or twitching eyelids. Regarding this, 6. The results of tests conducted over several months are summarized in the following table, and from these results as well, the effectiveness of the fashion glasses for VDT work of the present invention can be confirmed.

In Figure 2, (1) is the first polarized lens, and (2) is the second optical lens, both of which are positioned so that they overlap in front of the eyeball's direct viewing position, and furthermore, they are positioned closer to the face than the lens position of normal glasses. It is supported by frames +3) and (5) at a distance from the . However, as is clear from Figure 1, the second polarized lens (2) is detachable, and is engaged with the magnet (9), α0), etc. when unnecessary, such as when not performing VDT work. It is also possible to withstand the condition and hang it from the side of the frenim (3) to the side of the face using a chain or string (8). Of course, the second polarized lens (2) may be completely removed from the chain or string (8) and only the chain or string (8) may hang down, or the second polarized lens (2) and the chain or string (8) may be suspended. ) may be removed. (11) is a guide that guides the chain or string (8) in a movable manner.
You can adjust the length of the left and right chains and strings (8). (6) is a temple that can be hung over the ear, and (7) is a nose pad that is higher than normal glasses. In addition, the second

The fashion glasses for VDT work explained above are VDT
When performing T work, the second polarized lens (2) is used over the first polarized lens (1) as shown in Figure 2.
The polarizing effect of these two pairs of polarized lenses softens the strong light emitted from the phosphor that can hit your eyes, reducing "flicker," while also reducing glare when you lower your eyes to use the keyboard. The pair of polarized lenses (IH2) are supported at a position one goose farther from the face than the lens position of regular glasses, so they do not enter the field of vision and get in the way, so they look natural without glasses. Light enters the eye and is easy to operate.

On the other hand, when you go out into town or to a resort after finishing VDT work, you can leave the second polarized lens (2) unfastened and hanging from the chain (8) while wearing your glasses. The glasses themselves serve as sunglasses, and the second polarized lens serves as an accessory.
