よつて外気から遮断することが望ましいものとさ
れている。このような摺動部分の封止は外部から
雨水あるいは湿気が侵入することによつて摺動部
に発錆を招き、摺動不良を起こすことを防止する
ためであるが、反面封止により封止内部の容積変
化に伴うエア圧力上昇があつてもこれを外部に逃
がすことが出来ず、このエア圧力によつて非ブレ
ーキ時のキヤリパ摺動を生じて引き摺りの不具合
を招いたり、あるいは弾性ブーツの膨大によりシ
ール部分の係合が外れたりする虞れがあつた。

部の変形又は傾動時にのみ開路される外気と封止
内部との連通路を設けたことを特徴とするピンタ
イプデイスクブレーキの摺動部封止構造。
