Claims (1)
- トナー現像により像担持体上に形成した顕像を
転写部において転写材へ転写した後、クリーニン
グ部において像担持体上に残留する残留トナーを
除去する顕像転写型の画像形成装置において、転
写部とクリーニング部との間に像担持体上の残留
トナーと摩擦接触する摩擦接触手段を設け、該摩
擦接触手段により前記転写部において帯電量の低
下した前記残留トナーの帯電量を引上げるか、あ
るいは前記転写部において極性の変換させた前記
残留トナーの極性を再変換させることを特徴とす
る画像形成装置。
