Conventionally, automatic sewing machines such as sewing machines for sewing or embroidery are equipped with a device for automatically cutting upper threads and lower threads in order to improve the efficiency of sewing or embroidery work. However, when the needle thread is cut, the thread take-up is raised and the needle thread is let out, but the needle thread that is passed through the cloth, passes through the needle hole, and reaches the thread take-up is under tension due to the rise of the thread take-up. Immediately after the needle thread is cut, a force that tries to shrink it is applied to the needle thread, and the thread end of slippery needle threads, such as those used for embroidery, often slips out of the needle hole. This has a great influence on the following work. In order to prevent this, if more thread ends than necessary are fed out and cut, the excess thread ends must be cut off with scissors or the like after the embroidery is completed. Furthermore, when starting the next embroidery or sewing, the end of the needle thread often passes through the fabric from the bottom surface and protrudes to the top surface of the fabric due to the vertical movement of the needle, and the thread end protrudes onto the fabric. Furthermore, when embroidery is performed, the ends of the upper thread are sewn together with the upper thread inserted through the needle, that is, they are sewn together with pressure, making it impossible to achieve beautiful embroidery.

本発明はこれに鑑みて滑り易い刺繍糸であつて

In view of this, the present invention has been developed to prevent the cut end of embroidery thread from accidentally slipping out of the needle hole even when using slippery embroidery thread. The present invention relates to a method for automatically performing beautiful embroidery so that the thread end does not protrude above the cloth and is always located at the bottom of the cloth.

In the figure, 1 is an outer hook that houses a bobbin on which the bobbin thread is wound and a bobbin case into which the bobbin is inserted.
The hook is provided so as to protrude from the front surface of a hook shaft supported on the main body frame, and the shaft is driven by a desired drive source so that the needle rotates once for one rotation of the hook, or twice for a two-turn hook. is driven by. Therefore, the outer hook fixed to the tip of the hook shaft rotates together with the hook shaft, but the inner hook is inserted and stored inside this outer hook, and the inner hook 2 always stops even if the outer hook rotates. The inner hook is locked by an inner hook rotation stopper lever fixed to the main body frame F so that the inner pot rotates. Furthermore, a bobbin case housing the bobbin is detachably provided within the inner pot, and is constructed in the same manner as a normal sewing machine.

Further, a notch Fa is formed in the top surface of the main body frame at a position above the outer hook, through which a bobbin can be attached and removed, and a cover plate (gutter plate) 3 is provided in this notch Fa so as to be openable and closable. Then, the fabric C to be embroidered is stretched over the embroidery frame 4 and set on the top surface of the main body frame. The embroidery frame 4 is adapted to move in the vertical, horizontal, and horizontal directions according to the embroidery pattern according to a preset program.

In conventional embroidery machines, this embroidery frame only moves according to the embroidery pattern, but in the present invention, it moves at the beginning of embroidery, for example, when the needle thread has been passed through the fabric once or twice or three times. Make it move. This is done in synchronization with the rotation of the outer hook, and when the upper thread 5 is hooked on the outer hook and the upper thread hook reaches the lower part due to the rotation of the hook, the embroidery frame is set at this timing. Move only the set distance in one direction. This movement of the embroidery frame can also be carried out by temporarily stopping the outer hook when the upper thread hooking part 1a is downward, and furthermore, the amount of movement of this embroidery frame is such that the upper thread end 5a is below the thread insertion hole of the needle N. Even if the end of the thread protrudes above the upper surface of the cloth at the beginning of the protruding embroidery, the upper thread end 5a is set so that it will surely come out of the cloth and become the lower surface of the cloth when the end of the thread protrudes above the upper surface of the cloth. It will be done. After the movement of this frame is completed, the frame is returned to its original position and the thread end removal operation is performed. In this way, it is possible to prevent the end of the thread from being pressed down by the needle thread used for embroidery to sew, and this frame can be moved by various methods.

According to the present invention, at the beginning of embroidery, the embroidery frame holding the cloth to be embroidered is passed through the cloth once or two or three times by moving the needle, and the outer hook is rotated. When the upper thread hook reaches the lower end position by rotating the hook, move the embroidery frame laterally,
The needle thread end does not protrude to the upper surface of the fabric, and the embroidery frame is then returned to its original position for the next embroidery. This allows the embroidery to be performed with the thread end on the lower surface of the fabric, resulting in beautiful embroidery. It has the advantage of being easy to perform.

1. Place the embroidery hoop with the cloth to be embroidered on, and at the beginning of the embroidery, thread the needle thread end onto the cloth once or twice or three times.
When the needle thread is inserted and threaded in synchronization with the rotation of the outer hook, and the upper thread hook reaches the lower end position due to the rotation of the hook, the embroidery frame is moved laterally, so that the end of the needle thread does not protrude toward the upper surface of the fabric. A method for processing thread ends in an automatic sewing machine, characterized in that the embroidery frame is then returned to its original position and the next embroidery is carried out.
