ものであつた。 Conventionally, an automated parts feeder has generally been used to select only parts with a specific shape from a mixture of parts of a plurality of different shapes. Among these, for relatively small and thin parts, for example, there is a bowl-shaped parts feeder in which a fixed gate is installed in the upper bowl and the irregularly shaped parts are removed from the bowl depending on whether or not they can pass, or parts are transported on a straight track. It is conveyed by a belt, or by swinging a horizontal plate provided with a drop port, and a mechanism that determines the size of the drop depending on the size of the shape. A feeder or the like has been devised in which a specific member is discharged by centrifugal force by being placed in the same direction and rotating at high speed. However, if a used ticket is a light, flexible, bendable, and slightly deformed member, forcing it to be ejected from the exit would easily cause damage or breakage. , instead of the fine local deformation that is common in tickets after use, the deformation caused large deformations. For this reason, it is difficult for conventional component sorting and supply devices to efficiently sort relatively narrow boarding tickets and wider tickets such as coupon tickets due to their differences in shape. It was hot.

ができる装置へ開発が望まれていた。 For this purpose, a plurality of holes with a specific shape are opened on the outer periphery of the drum body, which has a hollow cylindrical shape, and a plurality of ticket pieces of different shapes are stored inside the drum body. A shape sorting device has been proposed that rotates and allows ticket pieces to be sorted by discharging only ticket pieces of a specific shape from an opening (for example, Patent Application No. 61308 of 1982). In this new shape sorting device, ticket pieces with a specific shape remain ejected from the opening to the outside of the drum, and cannot be collected and flown in a specific direction for further processing. In the retail industry such as shops and department stores, the price tags attached to products are the numbers on the stubs of each price tag (kept separate from the price tag when selling the product) for purposes such as aggregating sales records and organizing daily bills. ,
Prices, etc. had to be read and entered in a sales ledger, or the information had to be entered into a terminal as sales data, making it inconvenient to manually read many small pieces of paper. In addition, at the sales place, not only price tag stubs but also other pieces of paper, slips, stubs without symbols, etc. are mixed in, so before reading, it is necessary to sort out useful stubs. However, the work was tedious. For this reason, it has been desired to develop a device that can sort paper pieces and read the symbols recorded on them.

Once a predetermined amount of collected pieces A and B have been stored in the sorting drum 14, the switch on the control panel 7 is turned on, and the motor 16 is started and the drive shaft 15 is rotated to move the sorting drum 14 in the direction of arrow F in FIG. Rotate it. Therefore, the sorting drum 14 rotates with the end of the enlarged guide plate 31 of the shape sorting mechanism 20 as the tip of rotation and the discharge port 33 as the rear end, and the mixed collected pieces A and B are transferred into the sorting drum 14. It will slide and stir on the surrounding surface. Therefore, the collected pieces A and B slide due to the rotation of the sorting drum 14, are always positioned below the sorting drum 14 due to their weight, and are scraped in the direction of the discharge port 33 by contacting the guide plate 31. It will be done. That is, the collected pieces A and B slide on the inner circumferential surface of the sorting drum 14 regardless of the size of their shape, and the flow direction is regulated by the guide plate 31 that is greatly enlarged from side to side. Directed toward the center. In this way, the collected pieces A and B are collected by each shape sorting mechanism 2.
0, the collection pieces A and B are necessarily collected between the pair of guide plates 31. The collected pieces A and B collected between the guide plates 31 flow through the sliding part 29 and reach the discharge port 33, which is pre-formed to a predetermined length V and shaped like Only the small collected pieces A pass through the discharge port 33 and are discharged to the outside of the sorting drum 14. However, recovered piece B is larger in shape than recovered piece A.
Because it is larger than the cross-sectional shape of the discharge port 33, it either gets caught on the guide plates 31 on both sides before the discharge port 33 or flows and is thrown up above the discharge port 33. It will remain within 14. The collected pieces A discharged from the discharge port 33 onto the outer periphery of the sorting drum 14 enter the space of the U-shaped cross section of the guide section 23, and enter the space of the guide section 23.
3. The belt 2 of the transfer section 24 slides on the inner peripheral surface and falls.
7. This belt 27 is attached to pulley 2
5 and 26 in the direction of the arrow in FIG. 4, and the collected piece A placed on the belt 27 is conveyed toward the reading device 28. Next, as shown in FIG. 6, the collected piece A that has been conveyed to the reading device 28 is held at both sides by belts 43 and 44, and is moved at a constant speed by the drive of a motor 45. I am made to do so. The barcode 54 printed on the surface of this collection piece A when it is moving at a constant speed
passes the bottom surface of the optical reader 47, and the barcode 5
The bar code 54 is read by the reflected light from the surface of the piece A, and sales information regarding the collected piece A is output to another signal processing device or a storage device. The collected piece A conveyed by both belts 43 and 44 is transported by belts 43 and 44.
44, that is, to the open end of the reading device 28, the collecting piece A is released from the reading device 28, falls into the collecting box 5, and is stored.

置8に記憶されることになる。 Next, the sorting drum 14 is rotated in the direction of arrow F in FIG. Then, the motor 16 is driven in the reverse direction to reversely rotate the sorting drum 14 in the direction of arrow G in FIG. Therefore, the collected pieces B flow toward the center of the shape sorting mechanism 21 in the same way as described above, the collected pieces B are collected between the pair of guide plates 32, and the large collected pieces B pass through the discharge port 34. The collected pieces B are then discharged to the outside of the sorting drum 14, and the collected pieces B fall and are stored in the collection box 3.
After driving the motor 16 for a predetermined period of time, the drive of the motor 16 is stopped using a timer or the like, and when the rotation of the sorting drum 14 is stopped, the collected pieces B are stored in the collection box 3, and the paper waste is stored in the sorting drum 14. , banknotes, defective collection pieces, and other items that cannot be sorted remain. In this way, the collected piece A is placed in the collection box 5, and the collected piece B
will be sorted into the collection box 3, and other poorly sorted parts will be sorted into the sorting drum 14. At the same time as the sorting process, the information set in the barcode 54 of the collected piece A will be read and sent to the floppy disk. It will be stored in the device 8.
