DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing an oval tube having an oval cross-sectional shape. Conventionally, circular tubes have been manufactured continuously by forming a layer of molding material such as reinforced plastic on a cylindrical shape-retaining core mold that rotates in the circumferential direction and moves in the axial direction.

However, if an oval tube is manufactured using a method similar to the one described above, it will have a complicated operation of rotating in the circumferential direction and moving in the axial direction while retaining the oval external shape. A core mold is required, and such a core mold is not easy to manufacture or operate, and it is difficult to uniformly form a layer of molding material on the core mold.

The present invention was made for the purpose of solving the above-mentioned conventional drawbacks, and the gist thereof is to provide a core mold that is held in a cylindrical shape on a mandrel and moves in the axial direction while rotating in the circumferential direction. A molding material layer is formed on the molding material layer, and a plurality of uncured molding material layers on the core mold that have come out from the mandrel are placed on the inner surface of a cylindrical body that is rotatable to follow the rotation of the molding material layer. An oval-shaped tube characterized in that it is deformed into an oval shape by being inserted into a deformation device which is arranged such that a predetermined oval-shaped outline is formed when the outer peripheral surfaces of the oval rollers are connected, and the oval-shaped tube is post-cured. It consists in the manufacturing method.

A core mold 5 is formed by applying adhesive to the outer surface of a strip material 2 made of paper or the like and spirally wrapping it overlappingly on a mandrel 1 whose one end is supported. A belt 4 is placed over the drum 3, and the drum 3 is rotated so that the core mold 5 is rotated in the circumferential direction of the mandrel 1 and simultaneously moved toward the tip.

A press roll 8 is provided on the inner surface layer 7 and on the side of the core mold 5 so as to have a predetermined distance from the outer surface thereof.
In between, a resin mortar 9' made of a filler made of sand and short fibers mixed with a resin liquid such as unsaturated polyester mixed with a thickener is supplied to form an intermediate layer 9.

Incidentally, the molding material layer is not limited to the sandwich structure described above, but may be made of only reinforcing material or resin mortar, or may be made of several layers of these materials alternately provided. A release film 11 is wrapped around the outer surface layer 10 and removed from the mandrel 1 before the molding material layer is completely cured.

The molding material layer is passed through deforming devices 12 and 13 with the core mold 5 attached to the inner circumferential surface of the molding material layer to deform the molding material layer. Incidentally, since the molding material layer is deformed with the core mold 5 attached, the core mold 5 protects the molding material layer from the inside and the molding material layer can be deformed without losing its shape.

In the deformation device 13, a first cylindrical body 132 is placed on a pedestal 131, and a second cylindrical body 132 is placed in the first cylindrical body 132.
A cylindrical body 133 is provided rotatably in the circumferential direction so as to synchronize with the rotational speed of the molding material, and supports 13 are provided on the inner surface of the second cylindrical body 133 toward the hollow direction.
4,134... are provided, and adjacent columns 134,
Rollers 135, 135, which rotate in the moving direction of the molding material, are provided between the rollers 134, respectively, and when the outer peripheral surfaces of the rollers 135, 135, are connected, an oval contour to be deformed is formed. .

Note that the deforming device 12 transforms the molding material layer into a deforming device 13.
It is a device that preliminarily transforms from a circular shape to an intermediate shape between an egg shape and an egg shape before transforming into an egg shape.
Since the oval shape is not made up of straight lines and corners like polygons such as triangles and rhombuses, but is close to a circle, a preliminary deformation device such as the deformation device 12 is not necessarily necessary, and a predetermined shape can be achieved by a single deformation. It is possible to obtain the shape of
