Generally, when a customer operates an automatic teller machine to receive cash, he or she operates buttons according to the rules displayed on the machine to select the desired denomination and the desired number of coins. If the money is correct, the cash is automatically sent to the payout port, and at the same time the gate is opened so that the cash can be obtained. By the way, in an automatic teller machine, the following procedure is usually taken before cash is sent out to the payout port. In other words, there is a plurality of banknote stackers in the machine, and bills for dispensing are loaded according to denomination, and when a dispensing command is given by an electric signal, the banknotes of the denomination corresponding to the command are picked up by suction or A bill feeding device such as a friction type takes out bills one by one from a bill stacker, counts them, and feeds out a commanded number of bills. The delivered banknotes are sequentially deposited at a fixed location, and when the designated number of banknotes have been deposited, they are sent to the conveyor belt. The conveyor belt conveys the deposited banknotes to the payout port by sandwiching them from both sides.

The payout banknotes are generally transferred to the payout port in the manner described above, but the above-mentioned banknotes are structured such that the banknotes that are fed out at intervals are held between the upper general conveyance belt once deposited. When the amount of bills to be paid out is large, there is a shock at the moment when the belt grips the belt, and a phenomenon occurs in which only the upper and lower bills are drawn in first, and the central part is delayed, causing jams or items left behind. In order to avoid this, it is necessary to construct the belt surface of the conveyor belt so that it can be opened during inspection, which inevitably results in a complicated structure.

Next, when an abnormality described below occurs during the dispensing process, the following measures are generally taken. In other words, when bills are fed out from the stacker by the above-mentioned feeding device, two bills may be taken out on top of each other for some reason, or they may be fed consecutively without any interval as if they were one bill. Sometimes. In such a case, a detection device is activated and an electrical signal is generated to notify of the abnormality. When an abnormality occurs, the detected abnormal banknote is sent to the payout port and mixed with the preceding normal banknote, and then
It is configured so that the reject operation is performed automatically. The "reject operation" referred to here means locking the shutter so that it does not open even when bills are fed into the payout port, and storing the bills that have arrived at the payout port in a reject bill storage box.

With conventional structures, banknotes arriving at the dispensing port are usually deposited on a collecting tray provided at that location, or there is a system in which the banknotes are deposited on a belt and are finally moved to the dispensing port. Since the items are placed on the conveyor belt, in the case of the above-mentioned redirect, the stacking tray is tilted and the banknotes slide into the storage box, and the belt is reversed in the latter case. or by other means to guide them into the storage box and store them there.

A type that simply uses the gravity of the banknotes to tilt the stacking tray and slide them down is not reliable as the bills may remain on the stacking tray due to the generation of static electricity. Since it is in a mounted state, it is unstable even if a reverse operation is performed,
Furthermore, the structure is complicated because it is guided to the storage box via a route different from the outward route.

In FIG. 1, the reference numeral 1 indicates a plurality of stacker devices installed in the machine, and this stacker device loads bills 2 for dispensing therein and pushes the bills with the biasing force of a spring. 3 is constantly pressed against the suction head in 4 directions. This suction head 4 is connected to a vacuum pump (not shown) and forms part of a known suction-type feeding device that swings while performing a suction action at a constant timing. The banknotes sucked and drawn out by the suction head 4 are held between feed rollers 5, 5', and then passed through roller groups 6, 6',
7, 7', etc., and thrown between the claws 9 of the accumulator 8. The collection wheel 8 is periodically rotated counterclockwise in FIG. 1 about a shaft 10 at a constant ratio to the roller group, and
The bill passing through the gap is surely received one by one between the claws 9. Further, in FIG. 1, reference numeral 11 indicates a stacking belt, and 12 indicates a scraping plate, and as the stacking wheel 8 rotates, the leading edge of the inserted bill hits the scraping plate 12. Therefore, if the rotation proceeds further, the banknotes will fall onto the accumulating belt 11. In addition, the accumulating belt 11 moves the banknotes to the left in Figure 1 at a slow speed, so the banknotes scraped off by the scraping plate 12 are gradually shifted in a step-like manner as shown by the chain line in Figure 1. They can be stacked in a stacked state.

Reference numeral 13 denotes a collection tray provided facing the payout port 15 of the machine body 14, which is tiltably supported around a shaft 21, and the bills 2 for payout are deposited on this collection tray 13 via a conveyor belt, which will be described later. I'm starting to do that. The dispensing roller 16 is supported by a shaft 21 so that its circumferential surface is exposed through the cut in the stacking tray 13, and transports the dispensing banknotes 2 to the left or right in FIG. Further, a support arm 18 is provided above the dispensing roller 16 and is swingable about a support shaft 17. At the tip of the support arm 18, a shaft 19 supported by the support arm 18 is provided. A rotatable press roller 20 is provided. In addition,
Electromagnets, cam devices, and other known appropriate means are used to move the collecting tray 13, pressure roller 20, etc., but detailed explanation thereof will be omitted. Further, the reference numeral 22 indicates a shutter that opens and closes the dispensing port 15.

Next, the configuration of the conveyor belt will be described. Belt sheaves 25, 25' of another system are provided adjacent to one of the belt sheaves 23, 23' of the integrated belt 11, and between the belt sheaves 25, 25' and the pair of belt sheaves 26, 26'. Auxiliary belts 24, 24' are attached. Reference numeral 27 denotes a main conveyor belt, which is hung on the belt pulleys 28, 28', and is attached to the auxiliary belt 2.
4 and 24', and are configured to move together with the auxiliary belt in the direction of the arrow in FIG. 2 at the same speed. Reference numerals 30, 31, and 32 designate resilient belts. Like the auxiliary belts 24 and 24', the resilient belt 30 is provided facing the main conveyor belt 27, but since the facing surfaces are different, the moving direction of the belt is the same as that of the auxiliary belt 24. , 24' are in the opposite direction. 35 is a banknote storage box for storing rejected banknotes.

The main conveyor belt 27 and the auxiliary belts 24, 24' of the above-mentioned conveyor belt group have the role of taking in banknotes sent out onto the accumulating belt 11 when they are moved, holding them between them, and transporting them to the accumulating tray 13. It is what you do. At this time, since a plurality of accumulating belts 11 are provided corresponding to the payout denominations (in the embodiment, two
Although there is a point where the dispensed banknotes merge, troubles at this point can be avoided by considering the timing of the operation.

The present invention is advantageous in that it does not have the above-mentioned drawbacks compared to the conventional structure because the bills 2 for dispensing are thus stacked on the stairs and fed to the conveyor belt. The point that the shutter 22 is opened when the requested banknotes are arranged on the stacking tray 13 is the same as in the conventional case, but in the embodiment of the present invention, the dispensing roller 16 is rotated in the direction of the arrow in FIG. By pressing toward the payout roller 16, the stacked banknotes are sent out of the machine as shown by the two-dot chain line in FIGS. 1 and 2, so that the customer can easily pick out the banknotes.

Next, when a reject signal is issued, the stacking tray 13 is tilted about the shaft 21 to the position shown by the chain line in FIG. 2 when the abnormal bill reaches the stacking tray 13. At the same time, the dispensing roller 16 is rotated in the opposite direction to the direction of the arrow, and the pressure roller 20 is moved to the position shown by the chain line. In such a situation,
Due to the rotation of the payout roller 16 and the pressure roller 20, the banknotes are transferred to the main conveyor belt 27 and the reject belt 30.
During this period, the banknotes are taken in and finally stored in the banknote storage box 35.

As described in detail above, the present invention feeds out the banknotes loaded in the banknote stacker device while intermittently counting them one by one, deposits them on the accumulating belt, and then transfers each of these stacked banknotes to the conveyor belt. A pair of dispensing rollers and pressure rollers are provided above and below the accumulating tray to clamp and transfer the banknotes on the accumulating tray. established,
Under normal conditions, the dispensing roller is rotated in the normal direction to transfer the banknotes on the stacking tray to the dispensing port side, and in abnormal conditions, the dispensing roller is rotated in the reverse direction to transfer the bills to the bill storage box. Therefore, since the bills on the stacking tray are forcibly transferred to the dispensing port side or the reject side by the dispensing roller, it is possible to reduce the causes of troubles such as bills remaining on the stacking tray or jamming. can be used reliably and efficiently. In addition, since the stacking tray has a structure that can rotate around an axis located away from both ends of the stacking tray toward the center, the space required to change the posture of the stacking tray for dispensing or rejecting is small, making it easy to dispense bills. This has the effect of making the machine more compact.
