Abstract

PURPOSE:To vary magnifications in the longitudinal direction and the transverse direction independently of each other by controlling the change of the lens position and that of the scanning speed independently of each other in a slit-type copying machine which varies magnifications of the area in accordance with the change of the combination between the lens position and the scanning speed. CONSTITUTION:If either of a feed-direction magnification varying switch 24 and a breadthwise- direction magnification varying switch, for example, the switch 24 is depressed after depression of a switch 20 which varies magnifications in the longitudinal direction and the transverse direction independently of each other and a stepwise magnification varying switch 28 or a continuous magnification varying switch 30 is designated to set the variable power rate to a desired value, a scanning speed setting device 8 is controlled through a control circuit 32 for independently varying magnifications in the longitudinal direction and the transverse direction, and the quantity of light is set by a light quantity setting device 10. Simultaneously, the magnification in the feed direction is displayed on a feed-direction magnification display part 36. If the breadthwise-direction magnification switch is designated, a lens position driving device 6 and the light quantity setting device 10 are driven, and the magnification in the breadthwise direction is displayed on a breadthwise-direction magnification display part 38. ある程度聞かれるようになってきた。

倍率表示36及び幅方向倍率表示38共同じ値の選択さ
れた変倍率が表示される。  −次に縦横独立変倍をし
たい場合には、まず縦横独立変倍スイッチ20が押され
る。次いで送り方向変倍スイッチ24か幅方向変倍スイ
ッチ26のいずれかを押し変倍方向を選択する。ここで
はまず送り方向変倍スイッチ24が押されたと仮定し、
次のスッテプとして段階変倍スイッチ28あるいは連続
変倍スイッチ30のうちいずれかを押すことにより所望
の変倍率が設定される。縦横独立変倍スイッチ20を押
すことにより縦横独立変倍制御回路32がON作動され
、さらに送りh向変倍スイッヂ24を押すことにより、
この制御回路32により送り方向の制御がなされる。す
なわち走査速度設定装置8を駆動して選択された走査速
度になるように調整し、光量設定装置10を制御するこ
とにより選択された倍率にふされしい光量となるように
調整する。この時ディスプレイ12上の送り方向倍率表
示36は選択された送り方向倍率を表示する。次いで幅
方向変倍スイッチ26を押し、段階変倍スイッチ28あ
るいは連続変倍スイッチ30により幅方向の所望の倍率
