性状であることから、このサイドウオール用ゴムシート
を前記のごとく三次元の曲面をした更生用台タイヤのサ
イドウオール部全面に、蛇行しないよ・うに、またしわ
がよらないように、さらに新しいサイドウオール部ゴム
となる薄いゴムシートが伸び過ぎることのないように、
その伸ばし具合を微妙に調節しながらセンターを合せな
がら貼着しなければならないため、工程の自動化は困難
とされ、現在でも長い経験と熟練した技術を有する作業
者によって手作業で貼着されている。このため作業能率
の向上が期待できないばかりか、各作業者による作業精
度のバラツキやゴムシートにかけるテンション調整のば
らつき等があり、これが製品品質においてもばらつきを
