Claims (1)
電器と、帯電された像担持体に画像を露光させる
画像露光手段と、画像露光により形成された潜像
を現像する現像手段と、現像像を転写材に転写す
る転写手段と、転写後に像担持体のクリーニング
をするクリーニング手段とを具備し、少なくとも
上記の像担持体と一次帯電器とクリーニング手段
とを１つのカートリツジ内に収納し、該カートリ
ツジを交換可能としたカートリツジ方式の画像形
成装置において、カートリツジを画像形成装置本
体から外ずした時に像担持体を遮光する開閉シヤ
ツターは、互いに協働する第１のシヤツター部材
および第２のシヤツター部材を備え、第１のシヤ
ツター部材はカートリツジ枠体に設けたガイド溝
に係合して移動するガイドピンおよび第２のシヤ
ツター部材を案内する連結溝を有し、且つ第２の
シヤツター部材は該連結溝に係合して移動する連
結軸およびカートリツジ枠体に回転自在に支持さ
れたアームに支持される部分を有することを特徴
とする画像形成装置。 ２ 該第１シヤツター部材と第２シヤツター部材
の間に１ケ以上の該第１シヤツター部材の連結溝
と係合する連結軸及び第２シヤツター部材の該連
結軸と係合し開閉方向にガイドする連結部を持つ
