Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the needs for a power equipment for a floating box type tide gate by a method in which a float box is inserted in a vertically movable manner into a box buried under the ground, and during the high tide, water is charged into the box buried to raise the float box by the buoyancy of water in such a way as to utilize the upper part of the float box projected from the ground's surface as a tide gate. CONSTITUTION:In a case wherein high tide is expected, a gate 6 is opened to direct external water 5 through an inlet tube 4 into a box 3 being buried. Whereupon, a float box 8 inserted in a vertically movable manner into the box 3 is gradually raised as the water level rises, and a foot board 16 is pushed up. The upper part of the float box 8 is then projected from the ground's surface to become a tide gate. The needs or power equipments for vertically moving the float box can thus be eliminated, and the setting of the tide gate is made possible.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Conventional land locks for the purpose of tide protection have used a sliding gate as disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 54-60923, in addition to corner drop gates.

In such a conventional example, the hydraulic load is supported by concrete columns on both sides, and the gate is normally stored in a storage location 1M behind the columns. Furthermore, the door body is supported by a guide device provided on the sea wall following the pillars and travels by rollers, and when fully opened, the door body is tightened and fixed to the pillars on both sides.

Therefore, conventional land locks require a lot of effort to open and close, and require supports on both sides to support the hydraulic load.Furthermore, sliding gates require storage space for the gates, and if they are installed on roads, traffic The drawbacks are that the structure is complicated, and construction and maintenance costs are high. In addition, sliding gates are opened and closed by hand or power, so if they are operated manually, there is a concern about closing the door in the dark, and if they are operated by power, maintenance is a hassle.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention The present invention eliminates the above-mentioned various drawbacks of conventional land locks, especially sliding flood gates, and closes the gates using the water pressure of outside water, thereby eliminating the need for conventional manual labor. This is an attempt to eliminate the above-mentioned anxiety and trouble associated with power door closing.

Means for Solving the Problems The present invention provides a method for watertightly guiding and inserting a floating box that protrudes above the ground surface by water pressure into an underground box whose lower end freely communicates with seawater or open water such as a river. The gist of this study is the construction of a floating box-type tide gate that protrudes above the ground surface as the water level of the outside water rises to block out the outside water.

The functional floating box is normally placed on the bottom of the buried box and lies below the ground surface, but when the outside water reaches a high tide level that is higher than the set water level, the floating box is pushed above the ground surface due to the pressure of the outside water that has entered the buried box. The height of the protrusion is determined according to the water level in order to block the outside water. When the water level in the open water falls, the floating box also lowers into the buried pipe, and the floating box is raised and lowered automatically without the use of power.

Even at the upper limit position, the floating box is supported within the buried box with sufficient depth, so it is safely supported without falling over even under water pressure loads. Therefore, both ends of the floating box need only be brought into sliding contact with a sea wall or the like using watertight rubber, and there is no need for particularly strong fixed supports to support the hydraulic load of the floating box.

Embodiment In Figures 1 and 2, a vertical buried box 3 with a rectangular cross section is installed in the soil at the opening 2 of a seawall 1, and the bottom of the box 3 is inserted into a water pipe 4 and communicated with outside water 5. An external water supply/drainage gate 6 is provided at the entrance of the water pipe 4, and an air supply pipe 7 is provided in the middle of the water pipe 4.

A hollow floating box 8 is loosely fitted into the buried box 3, and a rubber rubber 10 is attached around the lower surface of the bottom plate 9 of the floating box 8. - It is brought into contact with the inner surface of the buried box 3, and a door stop is attached to the upper inner surface of the buried box 3. Support member 1
1 to guide and support the floating box 8 vertically. A watertight rubber 12 is attached to the lower surface of the door stop support member 11 to maintain watertightness between the floating box 8 and the buried box 3 together with the watertight rubber 1o when the floating box 8 is pushed up to the upper limit position. Attach watertight rubber 13 over the entire height to both end faces of the floating box 8 and bring it into contact with the seawall 1,

A stepped surface 14 that extends into two steps is placed in the soil in contact with the top of the buried box 3, and a watertight rubber 15 is attached thereto to prevent rainwater and muddy water from entering the buried box 3, and the step board 16 is freely tiltable. It is pivoted to.

The floating box 8 is always placed on the bottom of the buried box 3, and the tread plate 16
covers the upper part of the buried box 3 and allows passage through the opening 2. When there is a risk of high tide, open Gate 6 and open the open water 5.
is guided from the water pipe 4 into the buried box 3. When the time comes, floating box 8
follows the rise in the outside water level and gradually rises, pushing up the footboard 16 and protruding above the ground surface. When the outside water level rises to the set water level 5a, the floating box bottom plate 9 comes into contact with the door stop support member 11 via the watertight rubber 12, and the floating box 8 reaches the upper limit position. In this state, the watertight rubber 12 is compressed to prevent water leakage from the buried box 3.

At the upper limit position, the lower part of the floating box 8 is inside the buried box 3 and the periphery is supported by the doorstop support member 11, so the floating box 8 is firmly held in a vertical position and the outside water level is It can sufficiently withstand the water pressure when the high tide water level 5b is reached and will not fall over.

Since the floating box 8 is held in the raised position by the water pressure of the outside water in this way, it will not descend until the outside water level falls below the set water level 5a, making it possible to reliably block storm surge for a long period of time. .

When the outside water level falls below the set water level 5a, the floating box 8 gradually descends, and after reaching the lowest position, the water in the water pipe 4 is discharged from the gate 6 by air intake from the air supply pipe 7.

Effects of the Invention The present invention has the above-mentioned configuration, and the floating box that shuts off the storm surge is independent by the door support support member and resists external water pressure. There is no need for such structures or tightening devices, and there is no need for power equipment to raise and lower the floating box, so construction costs can be significantly reduced. Since there are no storage facilities on the ground surface, there are advantages such as the minimum land area required, no restrictions on land area, and easy installation.
