図中、１はサーマルヘッド、２はＣＰＵ， ３ハデータ
ラッチ回路、４はセグメントドライブ回路、７はパルス
幅規定回路、１０はコモンドライブ回路（シフトレジス

Claims (1)

タからの指示により上記セグメント中の所定の発熱抵抗
素子を選択するセグメントドライブ回路と、上記コモン
グループを選択するコモンドライブ回路とを接続すると
ともに、パルス幅規定回路にて上記セグメントドライブ
回路をオンオフ制御することにより、上記コモンドライ
ブ回路にて選択されたコモングループ内の上記セグメン
ト回路にて指定された発熱抵抗素子に所定時間通電する
ようにしてなるサーマルプリンタの駆動回路において、 上記コモンドライブ回路を、上記マイクロコンピュータ
から上記パルス幅規定回路に出力されるトリガ信号もし
くは上記パルス幅規定回路から出力される制御パルス信
号を受けて上記各コモングループを所定の順序にしたが
って選択するシフトレジスタとしたことを特徴とするサ
