Normally, an electric kotatsu consists of a plurality of crosspieces 1, 1 combined into a frame shape as shown in Fig. 1, a plurality of support legs 2 fixed to the corners of the frame, and a heater unit 3 attached to the crosspieces. ing. The heater unit is mounted by engaging a pin 4 provided on one side wall of the unit with the crosspiece from below, and fixing the other side wall with a mounting screw 5. In such a configuration, since a reinforcing plate fixed to the crosspiece is provided above the heater unit, the heater unit cannot be mounted above, and an extra space S is formed, making it difficult for the heater unit to This became a drawback as it protruded downward and reduced the heating space inside the kotatsu. As a result, not only was the foot unable to fully extend, but the foot also hit the protective guard and the guard was damaged.

The present invention improves the above-mentioned drawbacks and will be described below with reference to the drawings. Reference numerals 6 and 6 designate frame-shaped crosspieces that are combined to form a grid, and have stepped portions 7 and 7 provided on the upper surface. Numeral 8 is a plurality of support legs fixed to the corners of the crosspiece, 9 is a flat heater unit, and motor 1
0, a fan 11 driven by the motor, two heaters 12, 12 provided on the outside so as to surround the fan, and a support plate 1 that supports the motor 10.
3, a wind guide plate 14 and a heat shield plate 15 are installed inside,
A wooden decorative board 16 is provided on the upper surface of the heat shield plate 15, and a mesh-like bottom wall 17 that covers the bottom surface of the heater unit and side walls 18 that cover the side surfaces are connected via a mesh-like inclined wall 19 for protection. A guard 20 is provided. Therefore, the arrangement of the heater unit 9 is as follows: from the top, the decorative board 16, the heat shield plate 15, the wind guide plate 14 provided below the heat shield plate, and the two heaters 12 provided below the wind guide plate. 12, the motor 10 that drives the fan 11, and the protective guard 20 in this order. The heaters 12, 12 are fixed to the wind guide plate 14 at a position slightly higher than the lower end of the side wall 18 of the protective guard 20. The wind guide plate 14 is connected to the motor 10 and the heaters 12 and 1.
2 is attached, its outer periphery is placed and fixed on the upper part of the inclined wall 19 of the protective guard 20, and the heat shield plate 15 with the decorative board 16 fixed on the upper part has its outer periphery on the upper part of the locking part 21. Place and fix. As shown in FIG. 3, the protective guard is designed such that the height H of the side wall 18 is set to be approximately equal to the height h of the crosspiece 6, and the height of the bottom wall is set slightly larger than that of the side wall to reduce the dimensional difference. It forms a l. This dimensional difference l is necessary due to the combined dimensions of the respective parts within the heater unit. The bottom wall 17 and the side wall 18 are connected by the above-mentioned inclined wall 19 which slopes upward from the inside of the heater unit 9 toward the outside, and a locking part 21 formed by a step on the upper outer peripheral edge of the side wall. has been established. As shown in FIG. 2, the air guide plate 14 of the heater unit 9 is provided with a sloped side 14a that slopes downward from the inside to the outside. This is an angle made to discharge the liquid to a substantially intermediate position in the height direction of 8 (the position of a human's knee). 22,2

Next, the assembly order of the heater unit will be explained. Of course, the heat shield plate 15, decorative plate 16, and protective guard 20 of the heater unit are fixed in advance with screws or the like. Then, the heater unit 9 is inserted from above the crosspiece 6, the locking part 21 of the protective guard 20 is placed on the step part 7 of the crosspiece 6, and the attachment is completed by screwing together with the mounting screws 22, 22. With this installation, the lower end of the side wall 18 of the protective guard 20 becomes substantially flush with the lower end of the crosspiece 6, as shown in FIG. 3, and the heater unit 20 falls within the height h of the crosspiece 6 in terms of appearance.
Further, since the inclined wall 19 is inclined upward from the inside of the heater unit to the outside, the feet move along the inclined wall and no undue force is applied to the heater unit. In addition, the bottom wall 1 of the protective guard 20
The surface [H+l] of 7 is set to be slightly smaller than the height dimension A of the outermost crosspiece 60 of the crosspieces to protect the heater unit 9 during packaging.

As described above, the present invention consists of a frame-shaped crosspiece, a plurality of supporting legs that support the crosspiece, and a heater unit attached to the crosspiece, and the heater unit includes a heat shield plate, a wind guide plate, and a protective guard. The heater unit is inserted from above the crosspiece and the locking part provided on the upper side wall of the protective guard is placed on the stepped part provided on the upper surface of the crosspiece. The weight is applied to the top surface of the crosspiece through the locking portion of the protective guard, so that it will not become damaged if it accidentally falls off or deforms due to a load from the top surface. In particular, since the protective guard located at the bottom of the heater unit is secured to the crosspiece, the heater unit can be supported in a more stable state than when it is secured by, for example, a wind guide plate or a heat insulating plate located at the top. This is because conventionally, all the weight of the heater unit is supported by the mounting screws, so if a load is applied from the top, the mounting screws may break and the heater unit may fall off. Since the heat is distributed in various directions on the crosspiece, and since the heater unit is inserted from above and placed on the crosspiece, considering that the load is applied from above, the drawbacks of the conventional heater are eliminated. In particular, by inserting the heater unit from above, there is no extra space and the heater unit can be made thinner. Furthermore, if a locking step is provided on the outer peripheral edge of the upper part of the heater unit and the heater unit is placed on a crosspiece, the side surface of the heater unit can be reinforced. In addition, the height of the outer wall of the heater unit was set to be approximately the same as the height of the crosspiece, and the heater was positioned higher than the lower end of the crosspiece when placed on the crosspiece, so that the heater could guide the wind. The wind that approaches the board and passes through the inclined sides of the wind guide board effectively converts the radiant heat of the heater into warm air, which is then discharged into the kokotatsu through the lower end of the crosspiece. In addition, the heating space inside the kotatsu can be utilized to the maximum, and the shape is well-balanced in terms of appearance.
