A reverse cycle defrost system consisting of a refrigeration circuit consisting of a compressor, a four-way selector valve, a condenser, a refrigeration throttle, and an evaporator, a defrost circuit that bypasses the refrigeration throttle, and a refrigeration circuit that bypasses the defrost throttle. A refrigeration system characterized in that refrigerant piping through which high-temperature liquid refrigerant flows during freezing operation and defrosting operation is installed as a drain pan tube along the inner or outer surface of the drain pan of the evaporator.
