Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the judgement result having high reliability by monitoring the load current of a speed control servo motor and by judging the press fit force based on the load current thereof. CONSTITUTION:A bush B is held by the tip of a press-fit bar 1 and the component W to be fitted is located at a jig G and fixed. A servomoter 3 equips a tacho generator 4 and the feedback is controlled by a control device 5 based on the output thereof. A switch 10 is turned ON via a dog 11 at the medium point S of the press fit stroke of the bush B and the load current I of the motor 3 at that time is taken into a comparing circuit 13. Thereafter the comparison with the reference value is continued. If the load current I exceeds the reference value during the bush B reaches the advancing limit position the decision is made as a normal press fit and as normal excepting that. The press fit speed is stabilized with said method and the judgement result of high reliability is obtainable.
