Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a photosensitive body from damaging by finishing the photosensitive-body contacting surface of a separation claw which separates a form brought into contact with the surface of the photosensitive body after a transfer process into a smooth surface by electrolytic polishing. CONSTITUTION:The separation claw 2 separates a form 3 brought into contact with the surface of the photosensitive body 1 after the transfer process and the contacting surface 2a of the separation claw 2 for the photosensitive body 1 is finished into the smooth surface by electrolytic polishing, so that the surface of the photosensitive body hardly damages even if the claw contacts the photosensitive body 1 to separate forms 3 for a long period. The separation claw 2 is made entirely of metal such as carbon steel, the tip is pointed by machining, and the contacting surface 2a for the photosensitive body 1 is formed into the smooth surface by electrolytic polishing. Consequently, adverse influence of the separaion claw 2 upon its picture quality is eliminated and the life of the photosensitive body is prevented from being shortened.

2. Description of the Related Art In conventional electronic copying machines, the paper is electrostatically attracted to the photoreceptor during the transfer process in which the toner image formed on the surface of the photoreceptor is transferred to paper, as shown in FIG. The tip of the peeling claw α was brought into contact with the surface of the photoreceptor to peel off the paper C that had been electrostatically attracted to the surface of the photoreceptor.

As shown in FIG. 5, the surface roughness of the contact surface is a coarse grain surface of about several tens of micrometers. For this reason, the surface of the photoreceptor was damaged early due to contact with the photoreceptor, which adversely affected the image quality, and the life of the photoreceptor was shortened. This invention was made with the aim of improving such problems.

As the electrolytic polishing method for the contact surface 2a, phosphoric acid 1000W is used.
1t, an electrolytic solution consisting of chromic acid 300 II at 100℃
The tip of the peeling claw 2 is immersed in this electrolytic solution, and the voltage is 20 r and the current is 300 r. f/ai was applied and left for several minutes. As a result, the surface roughness of the contact surface 2a is α5μRα
Even if the paper 3 was kept in contact with the photoreceptor 1 and peeled off for a long period of time, the surface of the photoreceptor 1 was hardly damaged.

Effects of the Invention As described in detail above, the present invention provides a method for removing the photoreceptor 1 of the peeling claw 2 that peels off the paper 3 that is in close contact with the surface of the photoreceptor 1 after the transfer process.
Since the contact surface 2a with the photoreceptor 1 is finished as a flat surface by electrolytic polishing, there is almost no damage to the surface of the photoreceptor 1 even if the paper 3 is peeled off after being in contact with the photoreceptor 1 for a long period of time. This eliminates the possibility that the peeling claw 2 will adversely affect the image quality or shorten the life of the photoreceptor 1.
