Conventionally, timing scraping devices have been known that detect the upper and lower limits of the amount of cloth retained from the swinging angle of a scraper made of balance weights and a scale-shaped scraper. Its main purpose was to establish timing between each mechanical device in the system. On the other hand, devices that are equipped with a lever or dancer roll that detects the lower limit of the amount of cloth remaining in or on the surface of the treatment liquid layer are widely used. During detection, the fabric immersed in the liquid may be temporarily exposed to the air, making it impossible to obtain a uniform and desired treatment effect, and especially when processing fabrics such as knitted fabrics that do not allow even the slightest tension. At the time, there were problems such as negative effects caused by contact with detection levers, dancer rolls, etc.

The present invention solves the above-mentioned problems of the prior art and provides a sensor for detecting the amount of fabric remaining in a liquid, which can effectively detect the amount of fabric remaining in the liquid without applying tension. It is characterized in that the amount of cloth retained in the liquid is detected from the swing angle of the scrape, which is pivoted in the shape of a balance and has holes or slits formed at least on the bottom surface of the liquid immersion part.

In the above, the holes or slits formed in at least the bottom of the liquid immersion part of the scrape facilitate the discharge of the shower liquid from the scrape and the circulation of the liquid inside and outside the scraper, and also make it possible to maintain the liquid level at a predetermined level, It also improves the static and dynamic characteristics of the scrape as a detector by making the operation of the scraper unaffected by liquid flow and resistance. Examples of such methods include forming holes in various shapes, sizes, arrangements, and pitches, punching plates made of slits, net-like bodies, comb-like bodies, etc. The comb-like shape along the direction is less affected by disturbances caused by liquid flow and liquid resistance, provides excellent detection characteristics, contributes to smooth transfer of cloth, and improves stability. This makes it possible to detect the amount of cloth retained with excellent reproducibility. There are no particular restrictions on the shape or structure of the scraper used in this invention, but it usually has a sloping part for introducing cloth, a curved part for depositing the cloth, and side walls for guides provided on both sides. A J-shaped or U-shaped container can be used. In addition, in the present invention, holes or slits may be provided not only on the bottom of the liquid immersion part of the spray but also on the entire bottom of the spray. In this case, the shower liquid can be discharged at the inclined part, but especially on the entire bottom. In addition to the above-mentioned effects, the comb-shaped structure has the following effects: smooth sliding of the cloth on the inclined portion, and extremely easy discharge of the shower liquid. It is preferable that holes or slits are also formed in the guide side wall of the scrape, especially the side wall of the liquid immersion part, in order to promote the circulation of liquid inside and outside the scrape. Further, the scale structure of the scraper is not limited, but it is possible to adopt, for example, a balance weight, a spring, an air cylinder, etc.

The cloth retention amount detector in liquid according to the present invention can be applied to any processing device that requires detection and control of the retention amount of cloth in liquid, and various types of detection and control operations can be selected. For example, by setting the upper and lower limits of the amount of cloth retained, the cloth retraction drive source and cloth take-out drive source can be turned on and off to maintain the amount of cloth retained between the above upper and lower limits at all times. In order to correct the deviation of the cloth retention amount from the set value, the above drive source is made to perform on/off operation, proportional operation, or other continuous operation, and the cloth retention amount is always maintained at the above set value. It is possible to appropriately employ such control means. If the amount of cloth retained in the liquid is automatically controlled with high precision as described above, it will become an important factor in the cloth washing process, dyeing process, impregnation process, and other submerged treatment processes in relation to the amount of cloth transferred. It is also possible to set the residence time of the cloth.

Next, the present invention will be further explained based on the drawings.
Figure 1 is a side view of essential parts of an embodiment of the present invention applied to a softening machine, and Figures 2A and B are enlarged plan views of the scraper used in the above embodiment, with washing tanks installed in parallel. A J-type scraper 3 for a washing tank and a J-type scraper 4 for a softening tank are swingably pivoted in the shape of a scale in the 1 and 2 softening tanks, respectively, and each tank is maintained at a predetermined liquid level. Cylindrical cloth 5 after dyeing process
is supplied in the form of a rope to the J-shaped scraper 3 for the washing tank by the drawn-in V reels 6 and 7, where it remains for a certain period of time and is washed with water. 8, the material is supplied to the J-shaped scraper 4 for softening tank via a take-out reel 9, where it remains there for a predetermined time and is softened in the same way as described above, and then passed through a shake-off reel 11 by embossed rolls 10, 10. Transferred outside the system. Further, the above-mentioned retractable V reel 6, embossed roll 8, and embossed roll 10 each have a motor 12,
13 and 14, and the motor 14 is always maintained at a reference speed, and the motor 12,
13 is controlled to maintain the amount of the cylindrical cloth 5 retained in the J-shaped scraper 3 for the washing tank and the J-shaped scraper 4 for the softening tank within respective set ranges.

In the above configuration, when the retention amount of the cylindrical cloth 5 within the set range increases in the J-shaped scraper 4 for the softening tank and reaches the upper limit, the amount of the cylindrical cloth 5 retained in the J-type scraper 4 for the softening tank increases and the amount of the cylindrical cloth 5 is increased in the softening tank according to the amount of change (increase amount). The J-type scraper 4 swings and operates an upper limit switch (not shown) to stop the rotation of the motor 13. On the other hand, when the retention amount decreases and reaches the lower limit, the amount of change is (Decrease amount) J for flexible tank
If the mold scraper 4 is swung in the opposite direction to the above and a lower limit switch (not shown) is activated to start the motor 13, the amount of retention of the cylindrical cloth 5 in the liquid can be adjusted to the upper and lower limit set values. It can be held at any time in the middle. In addition, in the case of the J-shaped scraper 3 for a washing tank, the amount of retained cylindrical cloth 5 can be controlled in exactly the same manner in relation to the operation of the above-mentioned J-shaped scraper 4 for a softening tank.

As described above, according to the submerged fabric retention amount detector according to the present invention, it is possible to use the submerged fabric retention amount detector without applying tension to the running fabric, and regardless of the state of the fabric, such as rope-like fabric or spread-like fabric. It is possible to effectively and inexpensively detect the amount of liquid remaining in the liquid (including detecting whether the fabric is remaining in the liquid), and it is also possible to set the residence time of the fabric in the liquid and automatically control it, which greatly contributes to streamlining process management. It is something that contributes.
