Conventionally, electric heating devices installed in the interior of a car, for example at the top of the steering column, consist of a blow-off part, a heater part, an electric fan, and a case that houses these parts, and the heater part is assembled and fixed to the case. There is. Therefore, for example, when only blowing air in the summer, the power to the heater section should be stopped.
Although it is possible to blow air by energizing only the electric fan, the amount of air blown is not sufficient for the occupants to feel cool due to the large pressure loss at the heater section. On the other hand, if the setting is simply to increase the amount of air blown, a cool feeling can be obtained in the summer, but when the heater is used in the winter, the temperature of the hot air decreases due to the increase in power consumption and the entrainment of outside air due to the high wind speed. This leads to a decrease in the feeling of heating. In addition, if the voltage supplied to the electric fan is made variable using a resistor, etc., the device becomes larger because it is necessary to use an electric fan that has the air volume required for summer use, making it unsuitable for use as a heating device installed above the steering column, etc. Appropriate. Furthermore, it is possible to install the heater section so that it can rotate relative to the case, and when the heater is not in use, it can be rotated to an angle that reduces ventilation resistance depending on the shape of the heater section, but it is also possible to install it at the top of the steering column, etc. In a heating device, since the case is small and the cross-sectional area of the ventilation path is small, it is hardly expected that ventilation resistance will be reduced by changing the support angle of the heater section.

Therefore, the present invention solves the above problem by installing the heater section in an easily attachable and detachable manner to the case, attaching the heater section when heating is required, and removing the heater section from the case when heating is not required, such as in the summer. It is.

The case 3 is made of heat-resistant and electrically insulating synthetic resin, and as shown in FIG. 3, a notch 31 is formed between the air outlet 4 and the electric fan 2 (FIG. 2). It is provided in a notch 31 so that it can be attached and detached. The heater part 1 has a heater case 1 on its outer periphery.
1 is formed. The shape and dimensions of the heater case 11 are such that it fits tightly into the notch 31 of the case 3, is held without coming off due to the elasticity of the case 3, and has a top surface and side surfaces that are common to the top surface and side surfaces of the case 3 in the fitted state. It is formed to form a surface. An electrode part 12 is formed protrudingly on one side of the heater case 11, and a stepped part 1 is formed on both sides for positioning when the heater case 11 is inserted into the notch 31.
9a and 19b are formed.

The details of the structure of the heater section 1 are shown in FIGS. 3 to 6, and the heater section 1 includes a heater 13 having a generally rectangular thick plate shape and having a large number of mutually parallel through holes 131. The heater 13 is made of a material that has positive resistance-temperature characteristics and whose resistance rapidly increases at a specific temperature, such as barium titanate-based positive characteristic semiconductor porcelain. Electrode surfaces 14 and 15 are formed on the entire surface of both end surfaces of the heater 13 where the through hole 131 is opened by applying and baking a silver paste. And frame-shaped metal electrodes 13 and 16 are provided on the outer periphery of the end face, respectively.
are fixed with conductive adhesive, and both electrodes 15,1
From one side of the vertical frame part of 6 is the L-shaped connector pin 1.
7 and 18 are opposed to each other and protrude. As shown in FIG. 6, after fixing metal electrodes 15 and 16 integrally provided with connector pins 17 and 18, respectively, to the heater 13, as shown in FIGS.
As shown in the figure, a heater section 1 is constructed by molding a heat-resistant and electrically insulating synthetic resin into a heat case 11 having an electrode section 12 on its outer periphery. In this case, the connector pins 17 and 18 are made to protrude from the electrode portion 12.

When the heater is used, the heater part 1 is fitted into the notch 31 of the case 3 and fixed, and the connector pins 17 and 18 are connected to a power supply side connector (not shown). Power is simultaneously supplied to the electric fan 2 and the heater 13 via a switch in a parallel circuit. The current to the heater 13 flows from one connector pin 17 through the metal working electrode 15 and the electrode surface 14 to the other electrode surface 15 of the heater 13, and the metal electrode 1
6. Grounded via connector pin 18. This causes the heater 13 to generate heat.

On the other hand, the heater section 1 is removed from the case 3 when heating is not required, such as during summer. In this case, as shown in FIG. 8, a space duct 5 made of the same material as the case 3 and fitting into the notch 31 of the case 3 to seal the notch 31 is prepared. As shown, the space duct 5 is fitted into the notch 31 and only air is blown.
